I want to point this out, because no one seems to be talking about this; but this is a live-service game. During the press conference, the Studio Heads of Crystal Dynamics said to the camera, "Marvel's Avengers, will deliver a narrative over multiple years, with new content released on a regular basis" ... "every new additional superhero, and every new region, will be delivered at no additional cost." With no mention of how we customize our heroes.

Hey Joe! Let me help out your concerns from the first few minutes of the video. Six classes, with individual skillsets, that blend together without it becoming Ultimate Alliance. So the typical Dungeons and Dragons, or any fantasy RPG, party is five members. Five different classes that can become different variations to assist with each other. role rise you have Tank, Support, and three forms of DPS. Burst damage, Area damage, Damage over Time. Dragonage is built on a party of four, so it is definitely doable. Because the characters are already set, the job is actually easier because each character is a classic version of the variant that fits together. The second part of this question is about level development. The wonderful thing is, is that this too has been done. DC Universe Online features three basic modes of movement at their launch: Super Speed (flash), Flight (superman), and Acrobatic( This is supposed to be Batman but the animation has you climbing the wall as if your character used claws). Hulk's traversal is jumping and Wall Clinging. Thor and Iron Man are flying, Captain America and Widow are running. I hope this information helped!

Devs said the main campaign is single player only, there are side missions that are co-op. You switch between characters during the campaign and you can customize their uniforms, gear and abilities.

The main campaign can't be just single player alone.. Defeating the purpose of this trailer for cooperation gameplay. Trust me you can play solo with AI functions, but its mostly thrived to playing with friends and/or attack the base storyline entirely as a whole.

But they aren't. That's the issue. They tried to make the character models as close to the movie as possible, without actually making it the same likeness. Their fashion, personality and even hair is styled the same as the MCU. Look at Bruce Banner. Literally a Mark Ruffalo knock off. Spiderman ps4 was completely original, not a Tom Holland knock off.

Joe I think the closest thing to this would be like devil may cry 5. Its not open world like spiderman. Its more mission/chapters and at the start you can pick which character you want to be but some missions/chapters are only for one character. Like space mission is clearly just Ironman

I saw the leaked gameplay and it's a game that has you switch to different characters and each character is unique , black widow's gameplay is very similar to Laura Croft who relies on guns and melee. And if you played Anthem Iron man's flight gameplay is similar to that.

Don't feel overwhelmed... Sooo much time to finalize this game with improvements. Trust me the developers are listening and will structure it more accurately. I still have faith in this game for the simple fact of how much a fan I am. Even if the game was amazingly polished. I do like the idea of him being teleported away because they could jump back and forth between him and the rest of the avengers throughout the game. As opposed to him being presumed dead all game and then returning in the last 15 minutes of the story.

There are QTE's in the game(Quick time events). I had seen the demo. The gameplay is pretty awesome to me. Reminds me a bit of Arkham, God of War, and Uncharted in a lot of points in the gameplay and depending on what character you play as.

What's wrong with Marvel Ultimate Alliance? I love the first game. It's one of my favorites. The second one to me fell kinda short, but I still got some enjoyment out of it. It's not about paying the actors to betray their roles in this video game. This game is separate from the MCU. If this game was canon like Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is in the Star Wars Universe then yeah, the actors would have to be in the game. If this game was based off an Avengers movie then yes, the actors would be in the game. Tom Holland was not Spider-Man in the PS4 game. These Marvel games have no connection to the Marvel movies. And the game is 11 months away. I'm sure the faces will be improved a little bit before the release date.
