If you look at this game without the aspect of knowing the MCU and god of war and other games that influenced this game very much , it looks really good , and we really shouldn't. There's literally a multiverse in the MCU and just look at it as one of those universes.

Upgrades for sure, but iron man shouldn't look like a wooden board when he's flying. His legs and body should have some movement and also he was just shooting from one hand the whole time.

you do realize how big the mcu is which is a major reason why they're even making this game and why most of characters look the way they do right? I mean look a Bruce Banner. There's no reason not to connect this or see some semblance of the mcu in this game. And to be quite honest if they didn't bother it would really be a shame.

This is the single player story mode, it's supposed to be a cinematic story. The multiplayer coop aspect has it's own story and is more open world

Dude if Hulk jumped from one side of the bridge to the other with the bridge being that unstable, there is a super high chance that the entire bridge would collapse. So it makes total sense why Hulk would not do that when there are TONS of people on the bridge

If this game combines gameplay with cinematic cut scenes, I'm fine with that. It'll be like being apart of an Avengers movie. I enjoyed what I saw and can't wait for this game! it doesn't come out until May, so that's plenty of time for the developers to go in and work out whatever needs to be fixed and smoothed out before the release date.

They want the Avengers to have a Spiderman PS4 experience. This is going to be a live service cinematic game you can play over and over with different costumes. This is for people who haven't gotten to play a "decent" AAA Avengers game in their generation. That's fine but, I wish I was getting something better. I feel I've been waiting long enough. This isn't the steak I ordered but I'm sure this pasta will satisfy me.

I feel like the only part that was a little long was the Black Widow bit. I mean it's a gameplay reveal. Feel like we came in with too many expectations that's coloring our reaction to what the game is meant to be. Overall felt a bit nitpicky.

Before you all go Critics mode on this game, just remember that this is still in pre alpha and the game's release date is next year so there are still a lot of improvement to be added, also.. This part of the game is just the prologue so there are lots of cutscenes to expect. If you felt bored of this game, it's because you are *watching* it and not expiriencing it yourself.

@@Nineteen1900Hundred 1.Pre-Alpha. 2. This is the intro mission. Its supposed to be very linear and explain how the 5 main characters work. In Spider-man Ps4 you start the game and start swinging then go to a fight in the street. Then room to room in Fisk's tower learning the basic mechanics.

This is the game play of the prologue mission, which is meant to showcase the big 5 and their different game play styles. I do agree that it wasn't a good showcase, they should have edited some stuff down especially the Black Widow fight, it made the game play look incredibly repetitive. I do agree that Thor's Hammer feels anemic. They repeat a lot of the same animations for moves, and it just seems to flow on a script when it comes to the moves, hopefully that will change when you progress through the game and get more moves. Overall, the game has potential but this prologue and the way they decided to show this raw game play didn't help the game at all. They should have done the mission but with the characters having everything fully unlocked, as to show what they'll be fully capable at the end game. Well have to see how the other characters play as, what the multi player aspect will be like and if the DLC characters that they'll have down the line will be worth it. I feel that if they don't support the game with new missions and scenarios to play through it'll have really low replay value.

as a game designer I can clearly see that Thor's hammer needs a higher rigid metal sound effect with higher bass level to invoke a good feeling to play. Also his dubbing is awful and his movement when he talks are nonexistent. Also his movements are to stiff when he is fighting, maybe not enough budget to animate it properly. You can clearly see that they did the sound when he does the lighting ability properly but everything else doesn't feel right. The next thing I realized is the graphics. It looks like modern 2008 game with those graphics and its not what game users are use to like battlefield 1 type or the new spider-man.

This is alpha gameplay, that is why the majority of the games feel soft in its effects. Every character is getting their own playstyle, so they can be improved upon independently like classes from other games. I'm expecting this to be similar to the recent spiderman game, but I know it will be superior to Ultimate Alliance. I loved that first and second game. On edit, it seems like everyone is being hyper-critical of this game. More so than they were of EA's Star Wars game.

Yea what Sam said was true, hulk could literally jump the whole bridge in one leap, so all that unnecessary jumping didn't have to be in there, looks like it would be repetitive in some parts especially with some of the fighting from thor and black widow mostly, but as said hopefully it will give you the option of having more special moves in certain points of the game, or it's one of those games which let you level up, let's see what happens, it's too early in the game, but from what I've seen, it's just OK, it's a 4.5 maybe 5/10 for me

So while you are on Taskmaster back you control the punching. Like im more optimistic than before but to me they gotta come out with some customization for outfits and combo moves. Thor is the only one i really didn't feel was right. I want to be able to play the cinematic scenes and I agree with Joe you got to do certain things at certain times . But yea like Sam said maybe you able to build the powers out. Raven right tho way too long in the presentation. Should've chop it like Mk11 enough story enough fight and the good stuff. It just seems to linear, and the heavy hitters like Thor and Hulk don't look fun becuase the enemies are clearly not on their power levels. It's why games with street levellers like Batman or Spiderman are so fun because they have complex combat and have human enemies, Thor should be fighting higher level enemies and Hulks combat is very simple

Im pretty sure this game for designed for teenagers and younger to play as their favorite heroes and have fun doing it while we in our 20s online being Soo over analytical.. it's a shame really. Personally if I don't like it it doesn't bother me, once there's a group of people that does and the interest in the characters never die then I'd be happy.
