Actually I believe that this IS Blade, thinking on par with Dr. Doom or Nick Fury Sr. See if the planet is attacked by an army of vampires, they'll have to retaliate and destroy the vampires. And while the stranges' vampire nuke would do the trick, it's more likely that they'd not target Dracula's nation. But Blade has made to that now instead of a small number of hunters dealing with the vampires it's the whole world dead set on eradicating them, including himself as well.

**Edit: had an hour to think about this and what really bothers me about this is that these “perfect counters” for the Avengers have been in the Vampire ranks all this time they never once thought to do this? At least DC vs Vampires had a slow build up with infiltration into the heroes’ ranks. DCvsV had bad writing but this is already looking to be bad writing. I’ll see how the rest goes, though. So marvel saw what DC did and thought, “I want to do that”. With as many people as there are being taken out, there’s either going to be something to undo all of this or it’s revealed that this occurs in an alternate reality.

Does the recent Blade series tie in where I believe he’s fighting the Adona. But the final comic on the run mentions that her goal was change Blade and which the run he goes through adversity and power gains. It ends with you asking, how much was changed in Blade to stop her and there’s a hint that he’s going bad. This would be interesting to tie this together. But I’ve yet to see them mention it’s connected.

Totally agree Thor, Panther and Strange aren't dead, they just needed to take two of their most powerful heroes off the table for a while. Panther will escape find everyone &lead a revolt, if this was Marvel 15 yrs ago I'd be hyped for this but I just don't trust modern Marvel. After what they did to Punisher, Professor-X & Mary Jane, fundamentally changing them; disregarding their long established history, it wouldn't surprise me if Blade was truly evil now. I think Jed McKay is a better writer than that I'd I'm hoping Blade is playing a super long con on The Structure but with Marvel editorial being what it is I can't trust it. Also it feels a little too late, cuz I feel like I just finished DC vs Vampires but maybe that's just me

well, that IS the great irony....it would ABSOLUTELY be within sentinel programming as classicly written to prioritize the vampires as a threat to humanity. heck, there was a point where Bastion flat up offered to protect mutants from extermination..after all..no more mutants, no more prime directive to follow..and "contain" is acceptible. by his calculations at that point in time, he wouldn't need to start culling the population for generations.

The heroes who will be confirmed turned into vampires are in the following order: Black panther, Dr. Strange, Mile morales, Union Jack (possibly), Tigra (also possibly). How I know all this is because of the latest released Solicits, BP and Strange tie-ins show them as vampires, Blood Hunt #3's cover and MM: Spider-man #21 - 22 shows a now turned-into-a-vampire Miles, and a panel from Women of Marvel (2024) shows a demonic looking vampire-like Tigra
