Storm and magnetos dynamic is one of my favorite elements, they both have a HEAVY sense of duty to the mutant population. They would and have literally gave there lives for the cause they believe in, and they literally would go to hell and back to get each other back out of genuine respect. Real friends, real comrades, real honor, real duty. Those two are the phrase "We got a job to do" personified lol

meh it's pretty shit. I can't say it's like maximal shit, but at the very least it is like a sort of mediumish pile of shit. Like maybe if a couple hippos took a fat dump on the hot Savannah ground, that would basically be Storm and Magneto. Magneto being all "oh woe is me I killed people I'm so baaaad" and Storm being like "I had a dream that Magneto was standing there, so this of course is a message from God that I need to travel to the afterlife to retrieve his soul and bring him back to his dead body, I guess?". Meh pretty shit justification for a pretty shit story, but the art was at least kind of cool. Wow that's a notion we've all gotten used to feeling after just about every Marvel movie/show/comic in the Disney era. Story was shit, but hey there were some cool effects or FX or CGI or whatever. All the cool art and CGI and flowery dialogue in the world can't make up for shit writing though. I wish it could, believe me I really do.

1000% this is probably my favorite marvel story I've ever encountered Some of you kids might be too young to understand this but y'all have to realize something about MAGNETO and I capitalized his name for an important reason I was born in 1992 I ain't the oldest out there I understand that but listen to me very closely MAG MF NETO He was him back in the day X-Men back in it's hayday was HUGE like you could not talk to anyone without knowing knowing 4 names were gonna come at some point it was Wolverine it was Storm it Was Professor X and it was MAGNETO that was the quadratic formula of badass when we were growing up Especially if you were watching stuff like the X-Men cartoons (most notably Evolution cause that show changed lives like legit) Magneto was THE villain he was the worst of the worst sure you had competition like Lex Luthor or Joker or Galactus (Thanos wasn't really all that famous until fairly recently he was just the evil version of that macdonalds mascot that showed up and ruined everyone's day for luls) But dude I'm serious the impact had on an entire generation of kids especially my generation oh dude I'm serious you thought villains and I guarantee you the FIRST person you thought was magneto he was in all the cool ass videogames like that ps1 fighting game that was a bunch of X-Men and spiderman for some reason he was what made Marvel vs Capcom so damn epic he was the root of all your problems in X-Men Legends (and in 2 he was in your party right out the gate which was just gnarly) And now to see him coming face to face and accepting everything he's done up until this point taking that maddening rage that has always ALWAYS identified his character and making him at the very least in my eyes A F**** HERO Its mind boggling and it's the single greatest redemption of a character I have ever lived to experience and I have lived goddamn it I cannot mf wait to see the conclusion of this story cause I'ma tell you right now this is probably the single greatest piece of X-Men related content iv ever had the joy to read it's just that good bravo Marvel y'all have outdone yourselves and I'm beyond elated to have lived long enough to enjoy this

I love the creative writing of how some characters utilize their powers, but the power creep in X-Men comics is really off-putting sometimes. Im not familiar with when Storm gained magic powers, but I feel like it's kinda of unnecessary. Writers have already found ways for her to do practically anything with her mutant powers. It starts to feel like Dragonball Z after awhile. "Storm manipulates water and air molecules to warp reality and time travel."
