I hope Spider-Man 2 doesn't go the co-op route (mostly because I prefer playing solo) but I'd definitely play the hell of a Spider-Man game where both Peter & Miles are playable characters that you can switch between on the fly (think GTA V or AC Syndicate) & with each having his own story-line/missions. That would be amazing. Anyway, quality review as usual! Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I mean we had one game with peter and one game with miles im pretty sure we not gonna get the next game with JUST peter. It won't make no sense when there's a whole other spiderman. I get what you're saying though. Miles is probably gonna be in the next but the story is probably just gonna focus mainly on peter and we get times where we can fight enemies together like Batman and Catwoman in the Batman Arkham series. I don't know how the Gta Mechanics could work with spiderman that would be stupid in my opinion

If you look at Miles in action, you can see he's not just a model swap. There are imperfections in his movements while swinging and fighting that show how inexperienced he is. It's a cool attention to detail.

@@Daniel-it1dp why did you *only* play Demon Souls? Most people who say it's the best started with the game and are willing to overlook it's flaws just because it basically started the franchise. I'd argue Dark Souls 1 is a much smoother experience and has much better level design, Dark Souls 3 has better combat, and Bloodborne has better bosses and enemy designs, also much better combat than Demon Souls. If you liked Demons Souls you should check out the other games..

Great review! I’m glad you touched on the sound, though I’m wondering how truly “3D” the audio is, particularly with headphones. I mean, is the audio as three-dimensional as say, Hellblade was with the voices in Senua’s head? I mean, I’m getting a PS5 and this game, no doubt about it, but I haven’t seen anyone yet mention if you got a surround sound sensation while playing with headphones.

Plus a choice between 30fps for resolution and 60 fps for performance? Thats making me think twice of getting a ps5. Shouldn’t it be 60 fps to 120 fps by now.

@@donnellbutler2840 but that freesync and extra detail at a cost of frames. They really couldn’t squeeze that in all together? I guess it just depends on the developers and how they optimize it. I’d really much rather have 60 fps on 4k and 120 fps on 1440p. 1080p is not gonna make me rush out and buy a ps5.

@@judeldelacruz7121 you can have 4k 60fps you just can’t have 60fps when you got ray tracing its lock at 30 and keep in the mind the history of fps on console last gen was when we finally was able to achieve 60 fps only on 1080 now we doing it on 4k maybe when pros edition of both consoles come out we’ll be hitting 4k 120fps w/o ray tracing and 4k 60fps w/ ray tracing

I get that 4K is the "big seller" here. But can't they make a 1080p, 60 fps, Ray tracing mode?!? I don't really care about 4K and don't plan on upgrading my tv anytime soon

I don’t think you can have ray tracing without 4k atleast its unheard of

You can have ray tracing on any resolution, at least on the PC. Not sure what kind of limitations exist on consoles, but I've run ray tracking on everything from 1080 to 4k.

People like you got spoiled by games that offers 100 hour plus of tedious gameplay. A lot of open world games had this kind of length already like Prototype, Infamous series, even the Arkham games are pretty short main story-wise, heck the previous Spiderman games before PS4 Spidey were way shorter or just as short.

I can see games having haptic notification settings for the triggers in the future. Like turning off for cars but keep it on for enemies coming up behind you.
