We have had Guardians 3, Deadpool 3, X-Men 97 and Agatha. With this trailer I think I'm very confident Marvel's in their bag right now. Hopefully the reshoots was able to save the new Cap movie. But Thunderbolts is definitely promising.

I think people misremember how much of the Infinity Saga was mid. As much as I love the MCU, only a handful of movies are truly truly great. What helps the "mid" is knowing that characters are now set up for future appearances.

Lotta people doggin on Scru for saying "Marvel needs a hit movie" and yes Deadpool 3 was a hit movie. What Scru means is that Marvel needs to consistently drop hit movies if they want to revive the franchise. One hit after a bunch of misses isn't gonna save anything, but it is a good spark. And Scru not lying, Marvel fell off tremendously since Endgame. It's gonna take a lot more hits than Deadpool to bring it back to it's former glory days. Thunderbolts* (from what I saw from the trailer) looks to be taking the right steps into that direction.

This is going to be another tepid dud of a Marvel film. All team-up films that are not Avengers or GotG have FLOPPED at the box office (Eternals, Marvels, etc). What's most concerning to me is that we have a mix of characters we know very well (Bucky, Yelena, John) with characters who have only had one film up to now (Taskmaster, Ghost, etc). Probably no one will get any kind of significant character-building, and it will be another ineffectual dead-end story full of misplaced jokes. Bob/Sentry will be another ERJB who gets killed off immediately. Yawn. Keep scrolling.
