This game was my first introduction to most of the Marvel Heroes mainly Iron Man, Captain America and Thanos and the Infinity Gems.

When you reach the Sanctuary stage I always wondered who the people who were turned into statues were. I think I only knew She-Hulk and Thor from the cartoons but the other characters where unknown to me. Later I found out they were Scarlet Witch, Nova (who became one of my favs), and Drax the Destroyer. Also Mephisto and lady Death in the back. I just love the details in this level and how much it was based on the comics.

Looking through the comments, a lot of people don't know what a TAS is. He's not doing this all in 1 play through. Its using slow motion, save states, and such, then when played back, you only see the "perfect" run they were going for.

I'll be fair though, the first time I saw a TAS, it wasn't labeled TAS and I assumed someone was just really good at Super Mario 3 and Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers on the NES. The hulk vs Thanos fight in infinity war made me remember when I used hulk to beat everyone in the game and came across Thanos and was destroyed. I remember playing this in the 90's with my friends we all knew that this game took inspiration from the Infinity Gauntlet arc, we all were and some of us are still comic book readers and collectors but watching the last boss Thanos with death and mephisto and all other mighty avengers turned into stone, we wondered if capcom would make more versus games based of popular events from the comic books, they didn't but it was a fun time to be a kid.
