In games Predators do have regenerative capabilities , in comics it's still there but not as powerful , in live action they use their gear to heal the wounds and they do use robotic parts to replace missing limbs and even turn themselves into cyborgs

So, with that being said, would one be correct in saying that all of the Yautja seen thus far in the movies, have been inexperienced youngbloods? In which the reason for "all" of them having been killed by puny humans with inferior weapons and no combat skills? I would be much pressed to believe this to be the case, if not for what I have been lead to believe. Possibly Dutch, maybe Harrington, the rest, well, to much reliance on high powered weapons, little or no combat experience even dumb luck, right place right time. Just seems to much , that an advanced species, with skill and weapons beyond the range of human abilities, could be taken out like they were. Oh, don't get me wrong, I LOVED every one of the movies and hope they continue to get bigger and better as time goes on. 🤞🤞🤞

10:10 am What I find remarkable is the lack of KZbin videis from film fans who have not called out writers/directors since the first Predator was made in 1987, as after that when Blade 2 was made & we saw that vampires in it also had the same mandible jaws, which they repeated in Blade Trinity with their character Dagon! It appears like the idea was a ripoff just to show a new but then older kind of vampire species, but as they are rebooting Blade now, just to get a firmer if not more desperate target audience ratings, it wouldn't surprise me if this potential Blade franchise renewal is hoping to merge the Predator universe with it, & have an ancient story that shows Dagon was manufactured from a Predator originally?

I was a little confused by AVP as if the Predators of Predator 2 respected the Xenos as much as they did that the kept a skull in their trophy cabinet, yet really they were only a rite of passage ritual to the immature Yautja?

In the books, every hunt is technically a rite of passage. They consider the xenomorphs and humans worthy prey, with humans generally seen as the most dangerous due to our ability to adapt and think/plan. I haven't kept up with the books or comics, but even though they never really delved deep into predator society (other than general ranks etc), I always assumed it had to be a subset that hunted, similar to a military service type of deal. I have wanted to see what other aspects of their civilization was like, as you can't expect me to believe that's all they do. The tech and reach makes that near impossible.

Already felt like the yautja were over hyped Sure a guy who doesn’t know about th with limited or no weapons in the woods with other enemies would be threatened But in any other circumstances they are at a disadvantage beyond physical strength And that varies enough to get overpowered by a person Their vision is easily confused and lacks detail Without their mask they can barely see at all The weapons are impressive but they don’t make them individually It’s like being impressed by a soldiers gun They don’t actually heal well and can’t regenerate They tend to die more than win Their tech, while technically advanced is equally as flawed and as I say likely comes from a few individuals they’re not all engineers Don’t get me wrong they are a threat if your dumb But it’s not even just that they get overshadowed by aliens They just aren’t that tough comparatively
