I LOVE when you just talk to us.....as though we are friends, sharing the stories behind the songs, telling us what’s going on around your house, letting us know what’s going on with Angus and White Kitty, showing us your sense of humor, etc, etc. These things may seem so small and ordinary, but I think they are so important. These things allow me/us to see You and to see that I have things in common with you. A lot of people have been talking about staying connected. Dear friend. This afternoon I was walking in the hilly oak forest next to the building where I live in the Czech Republic. I had gone down to the pond, where I had been last week, to see if the Wood Duck ducklings and parents were still there. They weren't. I decided to sit down and listen to your new episode - which premieres here at 4PM. It was as if you were with me here in this beautiful place. As I walked back up the hill that moving song was playing inside of me and you were with me walking and watching the various deer which crossed our way. You touch my soul, Mary Chapin. My brother and I saw MCC at the Civic in New Orleans 2016 I think. Best birthday gift I ever gave him. He is now in a nursing home due to a stroke and has been since January 2018. We were fans from day 1!
