@@StratsRUs - Well, she hasn't had work done if that is what you are suggesting. That is super rare in the UK as we are not as vein and shallow as Americans. They are not related to Kodak-Eastman. This was a rumour that started due to her being a photographer and her surname. It was repeated in the MSM for decades. But Linda constantly said throughout the years that it was false and it is pretty easy to confirm it to be false online now. In fact, her father changed his name from Epstein, due to Americans being insanely racist. If interested - Her mother, Louise Sara Eastman (née Lindner), was from a German-Jewish family. Her maternal grandfather was Max J. Lindner, founder of the Lindner Company clothing store in Cleveland, Ohio. Her father, Lee Eastman, was born Leopold Vail Epstein and was the son of Russian-Jewish immigrants.

Firstly, it was said lightheartedly but it is a fact that far fewer Brits get plastic surgery and botox etc. Statistically, 7,000 out of 100,000 Americans get plastic surgery and only 609 Brits do. It is clearly cultural and not about the wealth of the nation as Brazil is a close second to the US I do believe that this is because Brits are generally culturally less shallow about looks. The only people who did any damage like breaking windows were ANTIFA who infiltrated the protest. The protesters were there because they wished to show their disapproval of the multiple voting violations during the election. It had nothing to do with the mythical white supremacists. I have lived in nine states and traveled to many more and have yet to meet a white supremacist. In this day and age, the term white supremacist like racist has lost all meaning. I could listen to Mary all day - just like I could listen to her dad all day. She is a treasure, making people feel so at ease with such charm. If I were asked about which 3 guests I would love to have at dinner, Mary would definitely be one of them. I have her books and we are cooking from them, having gone meat free in our household since 2021. Down 30 lbs just from that alone!

She's is the wee baby in Paul's coat on the back of his first solo album. I like the fact she is a great ambassador for the environment without being all Greta about it. I think that pushes many away. I don't know if they do this on her show but she should take a portrait of each guest at the end of the meal. Tie the two things together and a great way to wrap up the episode to show the portrait.

I have been trying to find Linda's mushroom gravy recipe for over 25 years. It was in the PeTA magazine back in '89 or '90 on a tearout card. I made it for Thanksgiving in I think '90 and everyone loved it, then the recipe was lost. Asked PeTA if they had one and they couldn't find it. Mary, can you help me find your Mom's mushroom gravy recipe or anybody else. Thanks

I have been vegan for decades, mostly because I took a deep dive into the animal agriculture business and it's inherent cruelty. My sister just became vegan one year ago but she did it for health reasons. She was pre-diabetic, had fatty liver disease and metabolic disease. ALL of her health issues cleared up and she lost 20 pounds.

Whole food plant based (WFPB) eating is the way of the future for anyone who is concerned about this planet. The money which governments spend to support meat and dairy is massive and it is so destructive. The Amazon is currently being cleared so much that it will be a desert at this rate in the future. The Sahara Desert wasn't always a desert, but was a temperate rainforest in parts, with lakes, rivers, grasslands and forests 6,000 years ago. It is now the biggest desert because of human use and climate changes. Water tables which keep trees and plants alive drop when plants are cleared and don't maintain the water level for new plants. I'll say what Mary didn't. The reason people are dying of heart disease, cancer and have high rates of diabetes is because they are eating the standard American diet of meat and dairy, with more fats and protein than any healthy body needs.
