Each commercial is a reference to Wanda’s trauma. Commercial one: the Stark toaster- A stark missile killed her parents, the toaster even makes the same beeping sound as the missile did. Commercial two: Hydra watch, the commercial mentions the watch was made by Barron Von (I believe that was his name) he is the person who essentially used Wanda and Pietro as weapons because of their mutations. Third commercial: Hydra soap- this could be a hint at how Wanda was brainwashed by Hydra, as in how the commercial was a literal ad for a washing soap. The commercial also mentions escaping to a fantasy without ever having to leave, this could be a reference to the shows entire premise. Wandas ideal world, yet still set on earth (as seen at the ending with the Shield/federal army outside the town). Just somethings I’ve observed, I’m loving this show and loving the reactions!

Me too, I feel like there's a lot to explore with Pietro, especially with Marvel introducing the X men soon. There is some news that Quicksilver is supposedly confirmed to come back in Wandavision or as a small appearance. Although there are rumours that they may switch the actor who portrayed him in Age of Ultron (Aaron Taylor Johnson) with Quicksilver from the Fox X-men films (Evan Peter's) but then again these are just rumours. 🤞Fingers crossed Quicksilver returns.

They established the world that they're in, they establish that not everything is as it seems within this community, they further flesh out and evolve and develop the characters, and do it in a very unique fashion that's unlike anything that the MCU was done before in film or television. They also have Easter eggs, callbacks and hints too the comics showing who is possibly behind everything and not too mention, the commercials that have a lot of info to go over just in that alone. It's a waste of time because you obviously weren't paying attention when they promoted this show as a psychological thriller/romance/fantasy horror and not a usual old run of the mill superhero action show. You watch all 9 episodes at the end of this season and it will be like watching a movie. Not too mention, with just how well the sitcoms periods were made, I would just watch that show, alone.

Well so far this is playing out like one of the comics were Wanda has twins and in that the main villan was agatha who trained scarlet witch cause she was one of the original witches. I think they are still gonna play off that and maybe Agnus or Agatha (who ever she is) was just scared cause maybe she realizes how powerful Wanda is. One comic about Scarlet Witch did say how she was given powers by a god along with the mutant powers she got from her dad, Magneto, and it is said that she can be as powerful if not more powerful than the Infinity stones.

Or she was forced by the devil (Mephisto) to manipulate Wanda and with Herb about to tell Vision some big secret she might be compromised and exposed. I'm sure the devil would forgive her for failing him though.

I think maybe something happened with Wanda where she got out of hand and they needed to create this world to protect everyone from her and they have Agnes helping them. And maybe that's why she's scared because of how powerful Wanda is. I mean the acronym SWORD does stand for Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Department. So maybe they consider Wanda a sentient weapon hence the reason they are containing and observing her.

I'll guess that when Wanda created her "reality" she needed other people to (unwillingly) be a part of it. Either they play along or there are consequences. I think that people on the outside are trying to break down her reality and get her and everyone out. Thats my take.

That was sword at the end, the new shield that monitors and deals with evil aliens and dangerous superhumans like Wanda and Vision. That's also outside of the tv sitcom reality in westview that Wanda has created. Also, she was pregnant for 12 hours before giving birth. They said it in the episode.

Regarding 'married couples being shown sleeping in the same bed until the 60s', it wasn't until the 1970s show "All in the Family" that the existence of toilets were acknowledged by the inclusion of a flushing sound effect. The show this is based on "The Brady Bunch" which had a bathroom set...in which we never saw a toilet. I only knew this because of the HGTV recent special where they remodeled the actual house used for the show's exterior shots with the appearance of the interior from the shows sets - they mentioned that the sets of the bathroom never had even a fake toilet as part of the TV show set.

That "SWAT" team is SWORD, another secret agency like SHEILD. It stands for Sentient Weapon Observation Responce Division. Their logo keeps popping up in Wanda's reality bubble. It was on the toy helicopter in episode 2 as well as on the back of the beekeeper that came out of the sewer. "Geraldine" is an agent of SWORD, her necklace also had the emblem. They are trying to break into Wanda's reality and free her from it. Other nefarious forces are factoring in as well. Hydra is being hinted at as well as AIM and even Mephisto, Marvels version of the devil.

The false contractions were named after the doctor who discovered them. Why else would you think they named them after him? Pun for mom? Yes. However, 'mum's the word' is an expression. 'Mum' as in Aussie mom wasn't the explicit intention. Spoiled young American blue-bloods used to call their folks Mummy and Daddy. It's not just Geraldine. Everyone under Wanda's influence is oblivious. Free of Wanda's influence, Geraldine knows more than everyone except Agnes! The term you're reaching for is NPC, non-playable character. The Schwimmer look-a-like married to Dottie the harridan is my favorite sad sack in Westview. Herb was glitching big-time and was unconsciously trying to hack through the set to escape! Vision is accurately referred to as a SYNTHEZOID since he has both inorganic electronic and mechanical components as well as synthetic organic components! Doctor Cho's synthetic skin was one such component shown in "Age of Ultron". Second Hydra reference in a commercial and this one directly related to "Agents of SHIELD"! Agnes sure didn't like not being the primary stage manager in Wanda's affairs. Fear over Wanda losing control or frustrated at not being able to direct a desired outcome? Glitching Wanda was like a scene from "Poltergeist"! Loved her breaking water deluge! Why was the stork impervious to her hexes? I think that after everything that happened in Endgame, Wanda had a mental breakdown at one point and she was propbably in a small town at that time, so when she created her reality she more or less took the people in that town as "prisoners" if you want to call them that. As the doctor said "You just can't escape" Wanda put up that dome over the town to keep everyone outside from interfearing and that is why SWORD is monitoring everything and got someone inside. The "beekeeper in the second episode also had the SWORD logo on the back of his jumpsuit and maybe he was someone who tried to get into the town to subdue Wanda.

That “Swat Team” is S.W.O.R.D Geraldine is actually Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Maria Rambeau from Captain Marvel. Monica is closely affiliated with S.W.O.R.D which is why her necklace pendant had a sword on it. I believe that Agnes is actually a villain named Agatha Harkness, a powerful which within the Marvel Universe. And Wanda’s twins are Wiccan and Speed.

The whole separate beds thing is misunderstood even by your audience. There were still separate beds in most shows into the mid-60s (heck, on Lost in Space they had separate cabins!). But even in the 50s, Lucy and Ricky actually had two beds pushed together in early seasons. It was only later they were separated.

Here's my idea abotu the ending. Wanda threw Geraldine (Monica) out, and the shield she came through is around Wanda's sitcom fantasy. The SWAT guys? SWORD coming to investigate what came through. They seem to be encamped around Westview, trying to find a way in and contact Wanda. I think they originally sent Monica in to try reach Wanda, as well as the beekeeper.

I’m not the biggest fan of Scarlet witch in the comics, but I do love Elizabeth Olsen’s take on her. However, I did always dislike how they kept leading us to believe Hulk, Thor or Captain Marvel was the strongest Avenger when Wanda LITERALLY changes reality. Glad you realized her strength Mary! Geraldine was SWORD, or at least the sword shaped medallion she was wearing seems to indicate that, so I assume the SWAT team she was surrounded by at the end were more SWORD agents, possibly not even sure who or what was just ejected until she was already well surrounded.
