Also GUYS in case anybody is wondering.. I connected my steinberg ur816c interface to the maschine plus through usb and it worked just as well as the native instruments komplete audio 6 interface did, which is what I was using prior. It was literally plug and play right out of the box! Giving you 8 inputs and 8 outputs! Now I have my whole studio running into maschine plus on their own tracks/inputs. Hugeeeee!

just sell the current owners an expansion dock that has a battery, subwoofer, and 4 speakers. They could put an output expansion like the Akai did BITD for 8-16 analog outputs. They could make a lot of money doing that and it would be a quick addition to current gear that would need very minimal engineering. They could make it supplement and compliment the processing power of the Maschine+ by bridging the bus power for the CPU and RAM lanes. They could even make a premium dock that would have a laptop hinged touch screen OLED display to be able to easily draw waveforms or edit EQ spectrums or draw automation etc. A real easy thing they could do would be to allow USB/bluetooth track pad connections or stylus that could interface with the 2 small screens. They don't need to develop a whole new deck, just make a modular enhancements work more regular software updates. I want MPE support! I want better Cubase integration! I want tighter exclusive Kontrol MK2 MK3 keyboard integration. They really need to do something, AKAI killing it, now PUSH, Elektron, etc. They need to update the software with easier composition tools too.

It's not that hard. Lots of KZbin videos on various workflows. There is more than on way to do integrate machine inside Ableton but start with opening maschine as a plug-in on a midi track. This is quite interesting that they would add functionality for a device they no longer make. Why did they stop making it anyway? There are not that many out there are they? I mean compared to MKs out there. How is NI support for used Jams bought 2nd hand. It sounded like if you already have one your good. Cause there support for other products like Studio and 2nd hand no license MACHINE is minimal. You can get a minimal Machine 2 package if you didn't get the software license with your used Machine or Studio. Never seen anything about the Jam at all. Native instruments excels at making keyboard controllers that do EVERYTHING except actually give you control over properly editing their synths...I don't want macros...I don't want to have to scroll through seemingly randomly laid out parameters in small groups...I want to have full control over designing sounds, I want to call up an INIT patch and program sounds on the synths without a mouse and keyboard, it's ridiculous to have these large screens showing the piano roll and all kinds of other cool stuff but yet lack the simple ability to CREATE sounds easily using only the controller...especially since video is demoing using these controllers with Maschine plus

now you just need a touchscreen, priced around the same as the maschine mk3 and your sales will go wild
@NakulKrishna3 жыл бұрын
A good touchscreen itself costs about 80% of the mk3, and that’s at mobile manufacturer pricing, probably way more for relatively smaller companies like NI.
@NakulKrishna3 жыл бұрын
@@halcyondaystunes I’m comparing them to actual megacorps like apple and Samsung. They have economies of scale the likes of which NI can’t imagine, hence we can all get touchscreens this good within our palms at a good price. Wishing for a touchscreen within a maschine at Mk3s price with it being standalone is impossible at this point.
@ericgoldstein20513 жыл бұрын
i dont get the touch-screen discussion. knobs are so much better and tactile. rather touch a button and a knob than trying to navigate through a touchscreen with my sweaty ass fingers whilst playing maschine... seriously - what besides maybe text input could the touch screen do better? i prefer scrolling with the encoder, and using real knobs... maybe an x/y pad? that could be cool. but moving notes around in arranger? well i dont see that being fun on there.
@NakulKrishna3 жыл бұрын
