Thanks for this video but now I'm worried it's too much work for me. This will be the second kit I've ever built. I thought looking at the finished article that it was an easy project. Why are you drilling, scoring, slicing, carving, etching and pretty much everything I've no idea how to do with such a simple kit ? 🙈

Well, I don't think I have the exact answer either. Even if I made it. :) It doesn't appear in the video, but I don't finish this kit all at once. I try to assemble without glue and think about which parts to add. Of course, the results are sometimes good and sometimes not. But if you enjoy the process, it will also be an important part of this hobby.

I have to ask, what's with the ceramic knife? Is it better then the generic metal blades on hobby knifes or ?

It is less sharp than a metal blade. so it doesn't hurt the plastic surface excessively. It also reduces the risk of injury to your fingers. I think it's located in the middle of a knife and sandpaper. Of course, if you are good at handling knives, it's not a necessary.

Just so you know. I use a company called Dr. Templeman for all my spring needs. They have a ton of different “spring guide” sizes. You might check them out. Sweet builds!

Thank you for letting me know. I bought coil springs from a local modelshop and they are cheap, but a little short of the kind. I need to find out more about their sales methods, but I think it'll be good information. :)

Yeah, there's a problem like that, depending on the country. In my case, it was difficult to find professional modeling tools. I couldn't find "NWSL chopper" at the modelshop in my country, so I had to search Amazon. :)

What kind of glue is that "AXIA Instant Adhesive Type 456". Is it cyanoacrylate? If so how can you apply it with a brush? The brush will be destroyed immediately I think.

Ah, I use a toothpick. I've never used a brush before. AXIA 456 is just black cyanoacrylate. There's nothing different from using other CA, but I usually use it because it's visible. :)
