Right, knowing Jen, she would love the original Avatar!! It's one of those rare amazing shows where it's perfect for anyone from PG age and up. I watched it as a teen the 1st time I watched it and then again 10 years later, and its still one of my 2 favorite shows.

Chantecaille should've just left out the SPF for everyone, because it's not doing anything there. It's so low that it's not really going to offer much protection, and you're not going to put something that is basically foundation on in the amount required to even achieve that level of SPF. It gives people a false confidence that they are protected from the sun, when they aren't. I don't think that kind of thing should be allowed tbh but anyway at least they're being honest with the darker colours that it's not necessary and it's actually just a tinted moisturiser.
@mariahfoose95013 ай бұрын
Agree. I also do not think it would be realistic for Chantecaille to change the formulation of only 2 shades. Better to just make a tinted moisturizer!
@ChrystalVanDusseldorp3 ай бұрын
I agree, why even bother with spf15 to begin with? Then to not include the deeper shades. Just leave it out. 😬

As an old, fat white woman, who has been appalled by Youthforia. The CEO of the brand failing to address the needs of beautiful deeper skinned people appropriately makes me uncomfortable for them. Not really uncomfortable, more like, incensed. Now Chantecaille has given only 2 deeper shades in their tinted moisturizers. Then didn’t find a good SPF to put in those shades. It’s as if they said, “Ooops! Couldn’t do for you.” That’s just nasty & wrong. Sorry said my piece & I’ll stand by it.

The amount you need to get to the protection, is huge and will not look good. Everyone should protect themselves with a sunscreen that works for them, before applying makeup. Many blessings!!!💖💖💖

I was in the hospital a few weeks back for a procedure/test & when I was being transported back to recovery I smelled something good & said "wow, someone smells really good." I was being wheeled by a young guy & he said "yeah it's me." I asked him if it was a men's fragrance & he said yes & told me it was from Coach. It smelled very vanilla/sweet. I don't usually like men's fragrances because they are too strong or woodsy & give me a headache or I can literally taste them after being exposed--yuck. (I'm scent sensitive anyways & most parfums/incense/scented candles bother me in one way or another) Anyway, I'd love to hunt down that fragrance for my hubby since A) I like it B) he loves the smell of vanilla when I wear it. Just a little nervous about the cost since it was Coach & probably not cheap.

Im an artist so it reminds me of someone who isnt an artist and one day wakes up and decides that they can do abstract art just cuz its not realism (you know, the whole " whats so great about that, I couldve done that!" mentality). And thisnis what they would.come up with. Thrown together just to be PRIDE and RAINBOW and DIFFERENT but with no real thought behind its aesthetic appeal.

I love Skylar (I think I have...5 scents?) and had the same reaction with Lime Sands. I bought the new discovery perfume set just to try it and liked it the least out of the bunch. For me, I think it's the Coconut Water maybe competing with the Salt. Funny, because I frequently layer Salt Air and Coconut Cove but Coconut Cove doesn't list Coconut Water as a note, just Coconut. I feel like coconut water notes don't have that creaminess I am looking for when I think coconut, they have that more chemical smell.

I have just watched 1 movie of avatar, the live action movie 'The last airbender', and I get most of the collection. Probably some of the shade names are unfamiliar, but everything else I understand.... The reason I'm saying this is to explain that you don't HAVE TO spend alot of time, watching the entire series, if you just want to be filled in enough to understand this collection and be "a part of the gang" 💖 I wish I could've gotten that makeup bag, it's so adorable!!!

The movie is a horrible representation of the series. It might not seem that bad on it's own but it's so much worse than the original series. Truthfully you missing out. A big part of AtLA is the character arcs of the main cast. Just on yt alone you still have content creators discussing about these characters and their relationships. Plus the animators took a great deal taking inspo from real fighting styles and techniques to replicate in the show. But I get it animation isn’t a medium for everyone. If anything i wanna say they adapted the series as a graphic novel that’d be worth checking out
