As uber bland as the BiTurbo Massers were deemed I always really liked them, especially the Spyder. My dads’ repair shop had an exclusive deal with the old dealer in Manchester when I was a teen so I saw plenty of them. They’re on my list of old cars (70’s, 80’s, 90’s or early noughties) to convert to an ev.

Oddly, it is pronounced Bee turbo. I have had three of these. I would love to convert my 1985 Beeturbo to electric. I look forward to watching your future videos.

I only had one, but the only time I called it a beeturbo was when I took it into LA and tried to talk with the Italian mechanic who worked on it. I just KNOW he could speak English, but always told me to talk to his secretary. That was a very comfortable ride. Their whole conversion with purchase was about $300 less than the one I bought in 1986. What a difference a couple of years makes!
