I did a Cadillac lyriq two weeks ago, the doors are hhs. There was a crease from one edge to the other. It took me a week and still didn’t look as good as I wanted it to be. I rather work on aluminum, but not the f250 and f350 lol

Omg. I haven’t worked on those f350 roofs but heard how challenging that metal is. HSS is no joke, thanks for watching!

I agree. Is there an easy way to tell if a vehicle is high strength steel before you start a repair?

Usually the panel will feel lighter. Ex. Doors on Toyota vs a German car

My wife was hit, and I was thinking paint less dent repair would fix this. After multiple quotes were all telling us 10 days and the whole side had to be painted since there were no seam lines for break, and it was metallic black. 3 days later, the shop said the car was ready. I looked at the paint and saw no new paint and asked them was it paintless dent repair? I was told that they had some tricks that simplified the repair. I said I would have used my paintless kit, but it was an insurance job since my wife's car was parked. The guy said, "Then why didn't I do it." I said, "Why should I waste my time when the other insurance company was paying for the damage. It wasn't my wife's fault, and they were a professional shop and do this every day. They were much better at it than I was.

I got the same glue gun. Mines drips a lot. Any advice?

Mine does too. Try to purge the air from the chamber by squeezing glue out until the air bubbles stop flowing.
