You just haven't had it prepared properly. Everybody loves watermelon. Smoke it low and slow over some hickory wood, then reverse sear that bad boy on the grill for about 90 seconds on each side, slather in buffalo sauce, add halloween sprinkles and enjoy. My sister wife likes to dip smoked melon in her cool ranch coffee.
