They're not even really soggy, they're a softer bun...steamed buns are a good change there. For sliders and similar, steamed works better while larger burgers need the toasted or grilled ones to stand up to them there.

There aren't any White Castles around my hood, Memphis, but I love Krystal's. I love the soggy buns, that's what makes them Krystals. They put mustard on Krystals and have ketchup and No One goes to White Castle or Krystals expecting a full size burger unless they've never been to the U.S.

I don't even do that. I take them frozen. I slightly wet a paper towel. Next, I wrap them inside the paper towel and put in microwave on high for 90 seconds..

Nothing like the White Castle crave! How sad that there is only one White Castle in Brooklyn near Bensonhurst now and it is located way down by Atlantic Avenue near the Barclay's Centers. The other one is in Queens way up on Northern Blvd. But buying them by the bag is definitely worth it!

I love White Castles and I've never had a problem with a soggy bun I've been eating them son of a b****** for over 60 years, and I never had a bad one. I've had bad Wendy's with food poisoning I've had Burger King food poisoning I've had horrible crap out of McDonald's, and checkers with awful of hot dogs and rallies with horrible things. Well I've never had a bad White Castle.

I don't think that wait time is a big deal. Have you seen the lines at In-N-Out burgers so what you're saying is not true. People wait for hours to get up to the drive-up window at In-N-Out burgers. We have one in Boise, Idaho and there's going to be another one in Twin Falls, Idaho so people will wait White Castle you got a good product. I grew up on White Castle and they're affordable and they are very flavorful so don't give up a good thing. I would love to have a franchise

In this video she is 1st talking about how WHITE CASTLES, bun is so soggy,but that doesn't bother me, what bothers me is the fact that when I 1st came to NYC, I tried the small WHITE CASTLE, cheeseburger for 19 cents each, and there fish sandwich for 29 cents each, but what I don't like is what once was 19 cents each is now 49 cents each, which I just don't understand why, the sandwiches that they make are so small, it's a joke, and if you go to a restaurant and see there burger selection, they have three SLIDERS,on a bun,with cheese,ketchup, and pickles for 9 00 what a PURE RIP OFF, and some restaurants have on there sides 9.00 for a order of FRENCH FRIES, and in my mind I say KEEP IT, and I won't go back ever again, for ten bucks you can buy ten pounds of potatoes, cut them yourself and fry them, and they are trying to rip people off,and they won't notice it, they are severely wrong, they are pricing themselves out of the market, and don't think that FOOD CRITICS ,don't notice, sure they do,and write it up in the newspaper under comments, as I read the comments, go, or stay away as it's there job,to protect the interests of the general public.

Let's see, 18 sliders per pound of beef. That's 0.8 ounces per. Which means, with sides, you need 3-4 to make a meal. That's $4, plus sides, so maybe $7 to get a meal. Pretty much the same as anywhere else. You can't call the meat grilled, since they lay it on the onions. This means, the beef is steamed, which is nasty. Only the onions are grilled. I'll assume that no one at White Castle has a sense of taste. No one in the professional cooking world steams beef, and for good reason. As for the greasy, soggy mess of a burger. No. This is a wet, soggy mess from the steam. Go to McDonalds, order a fish sandwich, and tell them to double steam the bun. You'll get the same soggy mess. White Castle couldn't pay me to eat this garbage. This video did amaze me though. I didn't think anyone could rank below McDonald's on the trashcan scale. White Castle has proven me wrong.
