I've heard the real Rocky had quite a mischievous way of dealing with people, but even so, he was this very upbeat, charming, extroverted kid who dealt with so many obstacles in ways that are quite inspirational.

yeah that was decent considering I made minimum wage of $3.34 in 1985 working at McD's but also a gallon of gas was $0.75 and a 16oz bottle of Coke was $0.35. I miss the '80's.

In 1959 I worked at as a postman for an area in Manchester for a bit it was only for 9 months and I got £5.00 a week-day because that's when I worked . I'd say that is some really good payment ! 👍🏼

This gives me nostalgia for when schools had windows like that. Where I live all older schools are being torn down little by little and new schools are built with most classrooms having no windows and the ones that do have tiny, high up windows. Not even the cafeterias have windows now, besides maybe tiny rectangular ones on the door.

I have a deep emotional connection to this movie &to the relationship of rocky &his devoted mom rusty which i.was deeply saddened to learn of her death as well but im at peace knowing shes up in heaven with rocky now my cousin was born.with a,simular disease like rockys but his didnt take his life thank god i admire rusty dennis the devotion she had for her child &her determination to keep him in mainstream schools he was so smart i know she had drug issues &liked to.party a lot but she loved her son

Rocky is the kind of people i was friends with. I n high school most of my friends were ld pd orbasically outcasts. I was bullied but never let it get to me. I understood how these kids felt. I would stand up for them when others bullied them. I would eat lunch at the reject table too. They were the most genuine real people i knew. Show them respect be kind and they are your best friend. I never saw them as different i saw them as people.

Hi, school is definitely not the best years of your life. So don't let anybody tell you that. Because if you believe that it could be depressing. Many of those people in high school that are living the highlife at that time. Come crashing down later. I was always a part of the nobody group also. And that's OK. I turned out all right and so did the people I hung out with.

Wrong attitude to have. Anyone taking their life for any reason is a tragedy. Using your logic 5 is less than 7 so we should pretend it's just 0. One issue being "greater" than the other doesn't invalidate the lesser one entirely or exonerate it from being fixed if possible.

Now, certain emotions could break you down, while others help you to move upwards and become successful. Luck is a phenomenon that plays a good role in that. But really, it depends on how you take those people's words into your mind, study it, and finally succumb to it.

I don't think that's what happenened in this scene. They knew Rocky knew they were looking at his contorted face but they didn't want him to think about that while telling the story because they started liking him by that point. Rocky eased the tension by not dwelling on it.

I read an article last year about a dude with the same condition on pain releif meds his whole life and doctor was put in prison for prescribing these pain relief meds at 87 years old . The patient ended up shooting himself cause could not find a doctor relive pain they were to scared to treat him because of the government. Sad.
