That Tactical Jump in the end really showed how confident Time was. Hard for Thors to win against Battlecruisers especially when liberators are backing them up, not only that but also being way behind in resources. Gotta give it to him for lasting that entire time though.

Fun fact: Bc’s are stronger than thors in a 1v1. Their dps to eachother is similar (without yamato). So, if you teleport on thors with about even bc count, thors die.

Pretty sure Thors reck BCs 1v1 without yamato and no upgrades. With 3/3 even upgrades Thors are even better(because they receieve same damage from BCs,but do a lot more damage,a single weapon upgrade for Thor gives more AA damage than all 3 BC armor upgrades combined can tank). Now with yamato and micro it's a very different story,but generally speaking jumping BCs into Thors is how to throw away a game,unless you are MASSIVELY leading 9 base to 3 like Time.

You know who wins in a battle of thors vs BCs? Who ever wins the early game,coz they are both tier 3 units,TIME won that game before the 1st Thor/BC even spawned.

@@jetezekieljayme9202 well in a perfectly even fight ,where 2 massive armies equall in resourses A move over each other,Thors win even without upgrades and with upgrades they win even more. However that's not the usuall situation in game(expecially at higher levels),BCs are much more mobile and if they use Yamato and than run away,than they can trade effectively with thors(without yamato thors just eat BCs for breakfast) To be fair if you just mass thors to counter BCs,that's a pretty bad idea in my opinion,if I am playing TvT and I see the other guy going for BCs,my main counter is vikings,coupled with a few thors on the ground of support(the combo of viking thor is REALLY good vs BC,viking can both kite and chase the BC and often force it to yamato the cheap vikings and not the Thor.In order for BCs to kill vikings they have to dive in and punishing diving BC's is what Thor's are great at.) Ofcourse sc2 is sometimes a game of stuff. If you got enough lazer shooting stuff(BCs) and you double your opponents army value,you can steam roll through just about any composition.

a) one Gost costs tons 1 Akademy 1 Teck lab 1 EMP research b) BC YAMATO from range greater than the Thor Air range is. This mean YAMATO out ranges the gosth EMP. c) BC don't clump so much vs small radius emp d) the libs won him this BC vs Thor figths

Actually they are very good old friends. There aren't many pro sc2 players in China, and old pro players like XY and iA are almost like teachers of Time. They feel very pleased to see Time's growth.

Somebody on the forums:"Thor sucks against BCs,I had one game in which my oponent jumped on my Thors and still won,broken balance!" You know who wins between Thors and BCs? Who ever wins the early game,coz they are both tier 3 units. 3:52 Not a single Thor or BC has been made in the game yet and TIME has already won,164 to 115 supply,4 bases vs 2,against an oponent who has no way to move out or put any agression back,90% of players on ladder would just type GG if they were in XY's shoes. I am not sure what his plan was at that point,I guess he was thinking "ima just gonna stay as long as I can in this game,maybe he'll suicide his entire army into my siege tanks on move command....maybe he ll do it multiple times....maybe he ll forget about tacking more bases or making upgrades...maybe his internet connection could drop....there is hope...."
