The whole purpose of your skills and your companion skills is health regen and using tech constructs to keep enemy heat off of you while you demolish them. You never have to worry about the Bio-Converter taking your health because you constantly regen health.
Tip: If you do not have Remnant VI unlocked, Overload is the next best option from my experience. Very high damage, especially against shields, that is a combo detonator to go along with the Assault Turret Crystal Ammo. Not only do you get the damage, but you get the subsequent ranged stun that makes for easy head hunting with your sniper.

there's a lot of ways to recharge shields and powers, the way you use tactical cloak is very downgrading... choosing recharge speed cut a 40%damage on the ability, and choosing escape artist you cut 1 or 2 additional boosted projectiles...So basically with 3 projectiles you have +50%, 0%,0%. instead of +90%,+90%,+90%. The cloak for sniping is meant this way, escape artist is meant mainly for powers user

You can go auxiliary systems up to rank 3. Both Remnant VI and Turret count as construct thus you don't need to "waste" points in techs that won't show up in your quick bar. O actually went up to rank 5 and still considering giving a go to rank 6 shield feedback as a panic button to combo with the tactical cloak :)

Exactly the build I was about to make, came across this so randomly haha. Thanks for the tip on the Bio Converter working on the Isharay. It's my fav sniper on my Infiltrator build and I was disappointed that it couldn't be added to it earlier. It seems they patched that in. :D

+Sci_Ant you have to research the Isharay Sniper and add it as an augmentation during the development/building process. You can't just buy it or loot it and then add the augmentation.

Lol, thanks for the clarification but I already know that. I was trying to craft it before the 1.05 patch with the Bio Convertor but it wouldn't show up in the augments list so I went with the Vintage Heat Sink. Either I did something wrong and maybe didn't research the Bio Converter before I tried to add the augment or reloaded a save which didn't have it but assumed I did. Anyway regardless of whether it was patched in or not, I crafted my Isharay VI with the Bio Converter yesterday and I love it.

Unless I'm missing something, the problem with the assault turret is that it doesn't go with you when you move and there's the cool down time you have to wait for

I can see this being even more powerful if you drop the engineer aspect and go full infiltrator instead. you can still get the health then, plus critical damage

love the idea of blood reloading the ishray. I've been using a variation of this build on my normal build and was wondering just how powerful it would be on higher diff. The only major differences between mine and this one is I've been using throw to break up packs of enemies or for when enemies close on me. Also I have plenty of levels and putting points into throw gives access to Barrier which makes you even more tanky.

+Beth junkins oh nice. This build isn't meant to tank but if you get the points to add to passive skills, that is a good bonus to have.

As much as I like the idea of this build, the only difference I'd make is going with the Black Widow over the Isharay. Load up a 4 or 5 slot melee weapon with Kinetic Coils & that should make up the damage difference. You can get up to 3 or 4 shots between reloads, which can save you on some health, or just use the Vintage Heat Sink, be more accurate with your aim & take your time between shots.

It is better to load the Melee with Tech-Recharge and the Sniper with Damage. Melee Weapons augments count all time, while the other Weapon-Augments only count when equipped.

Gucky I load the armor with Tech Recharge Augments, but I save one slot for Shield Oscillator (25% shield recovery on kill), plus I use the fusion mod for 50% power recharge rates. I'll likely switch to the adrenaline fusion mod once I find it.

Nice. Add the mod to your chest armor that gives you back your cooldowns on kill and you could spec into items other than tech cooldowns (damage or duration).

Apex of War , is the two augs for +5% tech recharge really needed? Or could you/ I or anyone benefit from a double mod aug in there as well with just the one 5% tech recharge aug on the sniper?

This looks Really easy considering it's insanity. I play normal as of now and didn't think I would get anything from playing on a higher difficulty. Playing infiltrator and yeah, it's really OP to snipe. Hahaha. Might bump the difficulty up at one point.

Hmm on my first ever char not meta in anyway I went jack of all trades. I've got overload inferno and singularity. and all the passives in all the trees. it's getting to the point where im decent now. on insanity. much of it is due to crafting. I'' toss a singularity max specced for range pick up 4-5 dudes overload to explode them with chain reactions due to the adept profile. this will get them to 20-30% health and I take a few potshots with inferno. no need to worry about pesky ammo 5000 dmg a pop semi auto basically. I'm working my way towards getting incinerate to act as detonator that will quadruple my killing power. first detonaning those helf in singularity with overload then detonating them again with a tech combo. I'm considering tossoing out incinerate and throwing in concussive shot for more damage. anti armor specces of course.. all my guys are speeced with 6th tier skills they have that prime stuff. when I fight I have 2 skills on quick recharge timers ready to detonate. rocking tier X kett armour filled to the brim with kinetic coild and battlefield assists units. I cannot die.unless I get sloppy.

+ka rance The skills absolutely work together. Fire the sniper and lose health, everytime you re-direct the turret and Remnant bot, that counts as using a tech skill and regens health. No waiting for abilities to recharge. And they provide cover fire that stuns and freezes making your headshots easier. Cora and Drack are perfect for squad health/shield buffs. Working on a biotic build that might be more your flavor though. It's a very action packed build with great survivability and damage output on Insanity.
