This song was written after the January 2015 attacks against Charlie Hebdo and the jewish store in Paris, but the band didn't want to release it right after Nov 13, 2015 attacks because of the very tense social climate in France. A very powerful song with deep lyrics

The album "Matière Noire" was released in October 2015.When I heard about the Bataclan, I immediatly thought of this song. The band was on stage when the attacks happened...

I saw them just 1 week after Bataclan's attack, and the moment when they played this song was one of the most intense of my life! This is one of my favorite band! So powerfull concert!

the text of the song is really excellent with a strong message behind it, well worth translating it. "L'enfer des Dieux" means the hell of the gods.

Great that you liked the track. And thanks for the compliments. The festival was Helfest, and there are English lyrics on the original video description. 😊 Next up might be a French band, but singing in English.

This sound was written in homage to those who died in the multiple terrorist attacks in France (Bataclan and Stade de France in Paris, Nice, etc.). L’Enfer des Dieux = The Gods’ Hell. To those departed too early, killed because they were free.

If you want more of them: When I first heard this track, I checked out their "Best Of" album, and after the second track it was insta-buy. You can get it here: www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B084ZBSRL8/ It's a double album, and my desciption of it is: "If the French revolution took place in the 21st century, this would be the soundtrack".

Hey guys. That is super nice of you to check out on Mass Hysteria. They are not the most skilled musicians but it's pure raw power. Very energetic and powerful lyrics. Please check "Vae Soli" from them live at Le Trianon. Best sound engineering on a live track I've heard.

There's a powerful story on the background of that track. It's related to Islamic terrorists attacks on France. It's a matter of pain so intense, we had to let it go hard for more than 5 years. A bunch of nuttards attacked a concert hall with machine guns during a Heavy Metal venue. We been hit at heart.

No prob' French is hard laguage and TBH sometimes, we cannot understand some french people talking either Try Jean Lassal you will se what guy looks like when he plays, "so You think you can FRANCE?!?"
@bodenlosedosenhose15904 жыл бұрын
Son, trust me, your father's pronunciation was not good. And that's coming from someone who failed at French in school spectacularly. Little fun fact since you brought up the way French people supposedly talk: In Germany we've got a comedian who can mimic accents extremely well. Actually to the degree that he made French people think he spoke some sort of dialect that they couldn't understand, even though he wasn't speaking French at all. He even made them apologize for not understanding him.

Fun attempt again to talk french lol. Bien essayé, nice try. You said some sentences or words quite ok. Tigana was tremendous, a legend here in France but underrated at the same time. One of my favorite tracks by Mass Hysteria is this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aafZoqBtnpuYjZY The track you reacted to was fine but not their best imo. The live performance in one of our cool festivals was good though. We have international festivals quite well known worldwide in France. I hope that you'll react to Gojira again in the future as well

Gojira is a problem. Their label blocks the videos based on copyright restrictions.

We won’t change our way of doing things to fool copyright restrictions. If the labels don’t want their stuff being promoted for free there are others that have no problem with it. Lots of fish in the sea
@goonercestlavie4 жыл бұрын
@@APREACTS Gojira is a special fish but of course yes. Fortunately some live performances don't get blocked. I don't get why some labels block some stuff when they could make money with the ads on the reaction video anyway, it's weird. 🤔 They lose money and promotion. Maybe there's a reason why they do this but i have a hard time to fully understand it.
