Yep i agree, and spring is in the box, Gearbox is in poor nick so Ill have to find a lot of spares.

hello lance thanks for all of the videos i have my gears working again on the goldy which i am very happy about so i thought while its pulled apart i could have a look at the steering and found ball bearings after i pulled out the steering colum what do i do with these

They usually support the column.

Thanks Lance, great video. A question, my hi-lo stick goes too forward, bumping to dashboard and comes down less. What should I do?

Check the retaining screw on the selector gate has not come loose or is badly worn and check the gearstick and socket for wear.

I have just spent a while pulling silicon out of the hydro filters on my 188. It had reached such a consistency that I thought it must be a pump that had shit itself. Nope I pulled the back end apart because some clever bugger thought he would use masses of silicone in place of bashing out a new paper seal at the last filter change.

Thanks again Lance, Great to see a Master at work. What's your opinion of a MF 35, with a Continental petrol, guy wants 5K, OBO. Just 5 acres to work here. Diesel is still through the roof here.

Go for it, diesel is $2.08 / litre here and petrol (Gas) around $1.68 / litre but I think the petrol tractors will probably use a little more but they will do the job just fine. I do prefer diesels though as there are no ignition or carb issues.

Thanks Lance, Guidance from a Master is greatly appreciated. I prefer a Diesel for the power, & lower fuel consumption, price is double that over petrol now. Cash is tight, all quality tractors doubled & tripled in price. Regenerative crops are imperative for me now, as the hybridized petroleum goes at me like a rabid pit-bull. Diesel is now 4.071 gal., Was over 5 bucks, 1.3563 a liter, 3.307 petrol,1.10 a liter. If the economy gets around to improving, I'd go Diesel all the way.
