Massey Fergusson 2675 SUBSOILING

We decided to do something different than usual. We are usually no-till or vertical tillage at most, with the exception of anhydrous injecting. We modified an old anhydrous injection rig to be a subsoiler and work up some spots that usually get very wet, just to make sure it can all drain out.

These MF 2000 series tractors had issues with their 3 speed Speedshift unit. If it starts to give trouble, you're looking at a lot of of time and money to get it fixed.

We’ve never had any problems with it. Well maintained and not abused.

@@OhioAgVideos you're a lucky chap then - those speedshifts were a serious pain. I take it that it is a 24 speed gearbox ? What year is the tractor if I may ask ?

@jamesbarbour8400 its got 8 shift points and all work forward and back. Not a powershift. 1979 we are the second owner. Papaw bought it off the neighbor in the early 80’s. I’ll try and get more video of it this fall.

If taken care of properly (wich it is) its pretty reliable in every way. Few minor fixes here and there but never anything major.
