Yes! I go to school in Radford and when I read that Gina’s remains were found, I was amazed because it’s been 40 years and i thought they’d never find her. AND THEN I saw they found remains of other girls and I was shocked, but also I could definitely see him a serial killer. I hope that these other women’s families find some peace.

I am also from the same tiny town and went to school with Gina’s youngest brother, GH, and know her other brother, JHIII. I also saw where (I think it was her sister) said they had found bones on the property and found they belonged to another female. I just wish Epperly would finally tell where her remains are or what he did with/to her body. I hate John went to his grave fighting to keep SE in prison and trying to find out where his daughter is so he could bring her home. It gives small comfort knowing he is with her in Heaven now.

I agree. I've been on antidepressants off and on for nearly 20 years and I've never once been seriously suicidal. I might feel like I don't enjoy living, but that's not the same as wanting to kill yourself.

Im so disgusted that I feel like I should wrote a letter saying "If you find me dead, its not a suicide, someone killed me"

Besides, wouldn't being on antidepressants make a person less suicidal in theory? I know there is a risk that they may make very young people suicidal, but not as likely at Kevin's age? Not sure. I think he was 25.

I completely agree. Other than Kevin’s DNA being in the knife handle I did not see any other pieces of evidence backing this. I thought it was so WILD and absolutely unfair. Especially given the text messages.

@@DanelleHallan I work in the mental health field, and I personally think that far more weight should be given to what is quite obviously a murder scene, rather than the fact than someone was taking antidepressants. A surprisingly large percentage of the population is taking antidepressants at any given time, and yes, some doctors do overprescribe them, though they are also vitally helpful for some patients. Either way, it's nothing to cast judgment over, particularly considering the number of patients we end up with from law enforcement.

Heavy Case Files just put up a video tonight where she went a bit more in depth to the case and its latest updates. Personally, based on what I heard there, I'm not convinced Kendra necessarily lured Eric to Saganaw to scam him (which is what's speculated in this vid.) Eric didn't have any money to scam. In order to supplement his living expenses after moving to Saganaw (to be near his daughter) he actually had to make an arrangement with the guy running his motel to work as a handyman. This wasn't lost on Kendra. She would've surely known how broke he was. Eric actually reached out to her on Facebook as he'd always apparently considered her "the one who got away". When he discovered the truth about his long lost daughter, he enthusiastically decided to move out there, it didn't require any convincing on Kendra's part. No one *really knows* what happened (yet?), but the Heavy Casefiles video makes a pretty good argument for this having been likely a case of Eric *at first* getting along well with Kendra and her new family...but then things go wrong. Heavy Casefiles mentions the testimony of a man who stayed in a motel room next to Eric's, who heard Kendra's husband outside shouting at Eric and threatening him. This makes sense to me, as I can imagine the presence of Eric- the ex- being a problem, as far as Kendra's "domesticity". My guess is, at first things were copacetic after Eric arrived. Then jealousy and mistrust led to bad things. It was- if nothing else- a VERY potentially volatile situation. I can see, given the proper circumstances, how it could all lead to violence. It seems pretty certain they killed him, eventually. I just don't think it was all a setup from the beginning. I noticed a few minor details it seems this video may have got wrong (assuming Heavy Casefiles is right), including who actually discovered the car. I'm curious why you think Kendra's still alive? There was one other comment on the other video where someone speculated the same thing. I suppose it's possible, I'm just not aware of any evidence saying so.

I had never heard of this case until the update here (I only just recently discovered this channel.) I have to admit, my first reaction after hearing what little is mentioned here is: it's not that unreasonable to believe a very drunk person fell and hit their head and died. And *if* there is a protocol for requesting autopsy photos, but the lawyer failed to follow it, then maybe *that is* why he didn't receive them...(?) But she states in the video here that the case is so vast she may have stretched it to 2 vids, so *clearly* there's a lot to unpack. And I know virtually nothing. Sounds intriguing. I'll look into it and see what the hell happened to this poor girl.

I just started watching this Argentinian true crime series Carmel- Maria Marta is the name it's good but subtitles so it needs your attention, this lady died in her home she was a famous woman, doing volunteer work and missing children. She was shot in the head 5 times in her bathroom, but like I said subtitles so it's a real sit down.

The lawyer is definitely trying to get Latunski tried for assisted suicide because no matter the outcome, it would effectively make it impossible to charge him with murder later. If he was acquitted, unless significant evidence came out later, the prosecution would have a major uphill battle to try to explain why they have argued two different variations of the case. And if he was convicted, it would be double jeopardy if they tried to charge him for the same act a second time. It’s like the old adage says: admit what you can’t deny, deny what you can’t admit. Also, I have a relatively strong stomach, but that part about there being photographic evidence of the testicles being consumed made me nauseous.

How does having antidepressants on a person's system lead them to the conclusion that he was suicidal? If anything it should show that he was not suicidal because if the person was previously suicidal and went onto meds for depression than more than likely they are not suicidal because they are seeking treatment for their depression.

Sometimes that's true but it's been proven that some antidepressants can cause suicidal tendencies. That's the sad part.

What are you parrots favorite words? My grandma has a 16 year old African Grey and he says so many things! Some of his faves are "get up Rena! Be right back. Who's your daddy?!" He meows. And he hisses whenever the women of the house are having a heated convo. It's so funny. He knows we were arguing and he hisses like the cats when they fight. So smart!

I've been taking anti-anxiety medication since I was 13 years old (and I'm currently 34 years old) and I've been taking antidepressants since I was about 19 years old. This is definitely not evidence that he wanted to die. In all the years I've been on these medications I've never thought about having someone kill me!! 😕 I just really hate when people will use the presence of antidepressants in a person's system as evidence for suicide. In fact, people who take antidepressants usually don't want to kill themselves, otherwise they wouldn't be taking these medications to help them feel better and to function.

Omg, I hadn't even heard about the new developments and the arrest in the Egypt Covington case yet - when I watched you telling about it, I screamed a loud: "YES, YES, YES, FINALLY! Finally they got a break-through in her case, THANK GOD!" Somehow Egypt's unsolved murder case has stuck with me over all these years and I remembered the horrific details with the Christmas lights wrapped around her body immediately, as well as the complete devastation on her boyfriend Curtis's face in the Crime Watch Daily episode(s) - aka True Crime Daily now - I didn't even need to watch the old CWD episode(s) again, bc I could memorize her case that well. At least to me personally, Egypt's entire crime scene scenario had always appeared to be much more like an "execution style killing" than a crime of passion; (that's just my personal interpretation of my own imagination though). & Thank you so much, Danelle, for making this video with sooo many important updates in all these tragic cases - I like to get case updates, bc somehow I bond/my soul connects to these cases and especially to the victims - I truly appreciate and love this case update video! PS. Your reasoning about the Saturday uploads makes perfect sense to me.
