In this video, I am in Idaho, with my pals Zach and Berg! They have taken me to a small creek, that is so small you can practically jump across it.
This clear water creek has the normal bass and trout in it, but it also holds some secrets that you have to see to believe!
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING, PLEASE LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE!

I caught an 8.5 ft sturgeon on the Fraser, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Over an hour and a half and a mile dragged up river by her, and we finally landed her in shallow water. Tagged her, took some pictures, and sent her back. Estimated around 350 pounds and over 90 years old! Truly amazing animals.

We use propolis fish care for hook holds and scale lift here in the uk carp fishing but your wrong about barbless hooks being safer than barbed barbless seem to move a lot more and can jump around the mouth in the fight and really do some damage where barbed will stay in the same place doent move around ether we use micro barbed hooks now many fisherys here in the uk upu can catch carp that have no lips mouths like parrots because of barbless hooks

@@Dimensionsbrecher I’m sorry sir. People love to fish. Myself included. A lot of people are jerks and don’t care about fish. I’ve seen them catch them throw them on the bank to die and all sorts of other things. What I meant by respect was Ty always spends time with the fish to make sure it’s revived. Never keeps fish out of the water long just a quick picture and puts them back. People practice catch and release so that many other generations can experience big fish. In my opinion anyway so maybe if this stuff isn’t for you. Maybe you should watch a knitting channel or maybe go listen to a good book sir. Don’t hate on people who are living their dream.

Sturgeon are the best. So docile and lovable. I’ve scuba dived with them in fresh water aquariums and they behave like strong, oversized puppies. This one didn’t wanna be caught but when it was, it was peaceful. Thanks for this Ty, and all the adventures you take us on. Due to various reasons it's hard for me to get away from home overnight, limiting my fishing travels, so it's fun to watch yours. Beautiful fish! Spring creek fishing can be amazing but also challenging. There's one we call the Trout Petting Zoo. Big fish, hard to hook, hard to land. Having that little trail along the creek is nice, usually you'd encounter trees, boulders, etc. and have to fight the fish back upstream at some point. Always enjoy your vids, take care out there bud.

The problem with a beautiful place like that is the greedy angler. There's always one a**hole willing to fish out the whole creek. Nice video man.

Good to see you guys using barbless and your fish care is brilliant, I've caught a 3lb sturgeon but just happy I've caught one as very rare in the UK , keep flying the conservation flag 👍

this is was such a unique video. Like you were saying "I have been dreaming of this".. could so relate to that comment, I think us fisherman only have dreams of catching giants like this in such brilliant conditions (clear water, sunny skies). I still prefer the Bass videos, but this was one of the best videos you have put out. Thanks for your videos Ty, currently unable to fish and these videos make me feel like I am getting to

This Sturgeon is a nice small sized one. I'm not sure where you are in Idaho but I fish for them all the time and catch many. Once in a while they will go up small creeks in the spring as most fish do during the spawning season. I have seen steelhead and other types not native to these types creeks. Idaho has a law that no sturgeon shall not be removed from the water unless it has a season and is in a river opened for fishing for them. I have seen them in small irrigation ditches that are drying up. Calling Fish and game and they will come get them and transplant them to the Snake river. I'm sure you all know this already. Great fishing guys!

About 50 years ago I was living in the country of Sweden far from the big cities.. There was a little creek right next to the little farm house I was staying in... One day, the next door neighbor who was about,4 miles away from the house I was in...He told me there's good fishing in the little creek right there....He loaned me an old bait casting outfit and as he left he told me there's some big fish there...I cast a little rapala minnow lure and it was immediately slammed by a 10 lb pike that I never saw coming.... That little creek was full of pike, perch and several other types we don't have in the states.... Long time ago but fresh in my memories.... Haven't been there again....I'm in my mid seventies so I don't have any stamina for hiking around the deep woods of Sweden...(or anywhere else...🤓🇺🇲
