Great video! So productive & has inspired me to get some stuff done. If you leave your washer door open slightly when not using- it will allow it to dry out and eliminate the damp smell. Have a wonderful weekend 💖Carol

So glad that not only was your daughter declutterer with you, your husband was working on your old bedroom! My husband was wonderful for many things, but declutterering on his own was not one of them. Hope you get some warmer weather for your long weekend & birthday! 🎉

She’s learned how great it feels to have space in her room and she is able to get rid of things she’s not using. These are skills she will always have. 😊❤

Well at the moment it's my choice on the hours, I don't want to do many hours during half term as my daughter and I have things to do....and I'll let you into a secret, the money from the second job I decided to save. I chose to take the second job so I figured I would try to save it all 😲🤔😍😍

Would you consider some shelving for your daughter's ornaments in her room? This weekend just gone, I dismantled my daughter's loft bed and built her new bed, so she could be allowed to have our dog, Nuki, on her bed. I think it took about 5.5 hours. I am thrilled with the result, and my daughter is spending so much more time in her room now, enjoying her space. Our kid's rooms seem to always be a work in progress as they get older.

A couple of thoughts for you Emma - maybe get an apron to wear when you are cooking. Despite being way older than you I only just cottoned on to this! 🤦🏻♀️. And do think about getting yourself a decent hoover. You’ve got enough to do without using a dustpan for large floor areas and with carpets and rugs it will really help your husband and daughter’s allergies if you hoover. It’s staggering how much dust is sucked up. Plus if you get a cylinder model with a long hose you can do cobwebs, skirting boards, curtains, mattresses, sofa etc. lots of dust and dirt removed with the least effort! Great work on your daughter’s room - and she’s right that only her things should be in there. Give each room a purpose and then it’s easier to decide what belongs where and what storage you need to accommodate stuff. Keep up the amazing work. And maybe ditch the big saucepan? You don’t really need it I am thinking….😉

I should wear an apron, good point. I have a Dyson upstairs 🙈 but it takes the rug with it. I need to get my little Dyson cleaned out and maintained properly. Don't think the filter has ever been cleaned!! I think you might be right about the saucepan 🙈🙈

Yes all the bottles I took from the wine container have been got rid of.... The bottle on the right was opened about a month ago my husband had a glass with roast dinner but I think now it will need to be poured away as it will be like vinegar?

@@gettingtidy2495 I think that it’s not the taste of meat that I’m expecting. Like turkey burgers, I’m expecting it to taste like beef,not chicken.

Emma... I love my coat rack by the front door for my purse, bag, coat, umbrella for quick grab. Would u consider that either on the wall or a stand up one? I also add 2 TBSP of Baking Soda in with the vinegar into the washing machine to help smell too.

That was interesting that your daughter doesn’t speak Italian with an English accent,it might be her age. My father was born and raised in Germany until he was nine then moved to America. He never spoke English with a German accent but when he would go back to Germany over the years to visit,his German relatives said that he spoke German without an American accent!
@gettingtidy24954 ай бұрын
That's really interesting 🤔 Maybe if she had said more he would have picked it up but maybe you're right she was very young and learnt from Italians (plus me 😂😂)

I’d check your understanding of your annualised hours as, in our place, holidays are not included in the hours you’re contracted to work. Those contracts are very popular with staff who have younger children as they can work longer hours whilst the children are at school and take the long holidays off, without their pay fluctuating, as it remains a monthly constant throughout the year. I’m also currently in Norfolk, just up the road from Norwich itself - and it’s been throwing it down for two days now, not as glorious as the day you were there and looks like it’s set to rain for the rest of the week (of course it is, it’s half-term!) ...... Friday however, was the most beautiful day
@gettingtidy24954 ай бұрын
Fair point I've spoken to a few people and they have differing understanding of the different contracts. We have term time annualised and normal annualised.... I was told you can deduct the weeks you're not working and work more the other days. You aren't that far from me then. Norwich really is a fine city. Glad you commented.
@carliem94944 ай бұрын
@@gettingtidy2495 I think that’s the problem with these contracts - depends on who’s in charge of HR at the time .... they can be very confusing. Probably not far from you at all - spent all night chucking it down, stopped for about an hour and the sun came out enough to make it a tad humid ..... raining again now🙄😄
