Yea buddy. And I agree a phone app would be ideal. But because it uses the same technology as the helix I wonder if they decided not to do it way back then. Maybe the next iteration of the Line6 modeler will have an app. Or if they could do one now. That would be super helpful

oh, about buying a separate looper. My 2 cent on the tiny Rowin Loop Station (Metallic brown, not the other one!!!! - the other one needs 2 quick stomp to stop ur loop!): so I thought all I need a tiny looper but then a new sucker thing appears: the power supply.. You will need 2 separate power supply bc the tip of the Helix is bigger. First I managed one adapter split to the looper but then: terrible humming appeared! So, better to use 2 separate power supplies which is again, cumbersome. I may buy a Headrush MX5 for small gigs, then use the Stomp XL at home only.

A video from 2020 says u can set up a 2 buttons looper. This is what I m searching for (I like 1 button loopers but on this unit u need 2 quick stomps to stop ur loop which is a sucker)

You should be able to program the stop on one of the switches

yes. terrible. I managed a 2 buttons NUX external footswitch, now it can do the 1 stomp to stop trick but then, I have no any display to see what is happening. So I must be careful with looping . @@ryansnydercg

Very comprehensive...I am trying to have one loop fade out while I start another loop.

The only thing I’ve seen is to use an expression pedal for the fade out. But I’m not sure how to start another loop….
