Master m175 combination padlock cracked: Tutorial.

Me cracking a Master M175 padlock. I learnt in 10 mins, perfected in an hour!

I'm a security guard, and I was left with a padlock that had the wrong combo programmed into it. It was stuck in the open position. Thank you for this tutorial. I was able to work backwards and determine what wrong number was set for this darn thing.

Just done it seconds ago, 100% accurate method of unlocking it. Damn, i am another one fooled by its beefy look and name, magnum. So easy for someone else to get access to your belongings, unlock, steal and lock again. And if its cheeky enough set up another combination for you. Thank you.

R u compressing the lock for tension or pulling it apart for tension? Thanks

@@todd5082 i was pulling it apart for tension, to feel any subtle change in the tension, and when it hit the right number in the combination, it's tension droppet a bit.

OMG! It really worked. Thank you! The lock looks so beefy. But, it took less than 5 minutes to pick without any tools. So, I paid $25 for a piece of junk.

Thank you for this... I had a lock that the original package was thrown away so I did not know the combination. This worked perfectly. I had mine open in about 2 minutes. Which of course begs the question... are any of these combination locks secure?

I was in that situation tonight. I was able to do the same except applying pressure inward instead of outward. It still works.
