Master Of Puppets In The Style Of Linkin Park (REACTION) What up Sycho Nation and welcome back to the Asylum. Today we are doing another viewer request from my discord server (LINK BELOW). This is Master of Puppets by metallica in the style of Linkin Park.
As a huge fan of both Metallica and Linkin Park I was so stoked to get into this song!! And some of it was really good while other parts left much to be desired. For instance the part of the song where it goes "MASTER MASTER" in the Metallica version in highlighted by strong bass notes and snare strikes. But in this version these highlights are gone due to it being in the style of linkin park. THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT BAD it just takes away from a crucial part (In my opinion) of the song.
This is not my favorite cover ever but it most def is not the worst either. This is more a song of two favorites colliding to make something new. Not overly the style I would listen to but still good. Anthony Vincent def did this song justice especially with his killer voice and the time he took to do cuts to add that linkin park feel to Master Of Puppets.

I knew that this was going to trip you and others up. That's one of the reasons why I requested this song. I knew you'd have an interesting reaction because of how you've talked about Metallica on The Warning reactions. I will say, Anthony Vincent, aka Ten Second Songs, is excellent in his own right with his other projects as well. That being said, I think it's fascinating to hear what a song by one band maybe could have sounded like if it was performed by Linking' Park, Killswitch Engage, etc. There are some of these different style combos that I like better than others, so even as a fan of Anthony Vincent's there some that I think are excellent and others, though good, I don't regularly seek out. Thank you again for the reaction!
