That's a great tip with the grease around the bleed screws. Sure, go ahead and show us the RSS stuff. They make really nice products and deserve the exposure. If I were in the market for an aftermarket suspension I'd MUCH rather use RSS than put in an MII system, even though that's the go to for the street rod world.

dont actually need to fill the bottle if you put the bottle higher than the nipple so that fluid is pushed up. There is also neat auto bleed nipples you can use or one way valve.

I have found that if you set the bottle higher than the bleeder it works even better. ( the air traped in the hose can't make it back into the cilinder/caliper)

I'm old so I was taught to use that method with a Coke bottle. The narrow neck kept the hose in place and the glass meant it was heavier and less likely to fall over since the cap obviously couldn't be reused. Later I went to Gatorade glass bottles, since the bigger, wider bottle meant that it had no chance of tipping over.

Good points.. I like the vacuum gun. I use a water bottle with the vacuum gun. I do not open and close the fitting. I just pump the fluid out and I can do all 4 wheels in about 1/2 hour.

Sometimes if don't have a helper, I'll use this method except for the pumping and just let it gravity bleed while I do something else

The harbor freight compressed air gizmo works a treat and is worth the $. I did 4 over the weekend so it saved me a lot of headache. 2nd year of use for my vehicles.
