MGM Springfield just opened up 10 minutes away from me, it is FILLED with 6:5 blackjack tables with CSM Machines. If you want to play 3:2, you are going to have to play 25 dollar minimums, and 50 on the weekends. Kinda sucks, lol.

thank you for this video. I am hours away from my first day dealing and am stressing out! lol I was taught for every $5 add a dollar and a bet that isnt in the quantity of 5, those dollars are even money. But it occured to me that 6 to 5 is a 20% payout which made it so much easier to pick up. I was thinking, why didnt my teacher just say its the bet plus 20% of the bet? Thats so much easier to me.

Basically, jus divide your betting amount by 5 (if the payout is 6 to 5) and Thts how much you get extra if you get blackjack. So if you bet 300 and got blackjack, your getting $300 + $60. So $360

During the time I had investments in a casino company on Wall Street, I REALLY liked 6 to 5. Only way to make money at a casino. ;) But in all seriousness, I'd never play 6:5. Hasn't hit NYS yet, thankfully. Adds 2% to the house edge.

Easiest way to clear a rack on a fill is to flip the rack on its side with all the chips in it and place four fingers across the top and push the chips and pull back on the rack with your thumbs at the same time.

For those that prefer to do the math, take the original bet divide it by 5 and add that number to the original bet. This can get confusing with wagers that aren't multiples of 5 but you can find ways to get it right.

@@matusmazur5652 to make it easy, every dollar bet is add 20c, every 5 is add dollar, 25 add 5$, 100 add 20. So a 17$ bet, 3 5's and 2 1's so 17+ 3.40

A 17 dollar blackjack pays out 20 dollars, if we approximate the true value of 20.4 to favor the house. Best hack I discovered was to multiply the original bet by 2, divide it by 10 or simply rolling the decimal point one position to the left and adding that result to the original amount that was bet. This works with payouts that give out decimal values in their prizes. For example, the 136 dollar blackjack actually pays out 163.2, but to favor the house, we eliminate the 20 cents and make it 163.

Ok. People are saying not to use math for 6:5 but use units such as every red chip gets you another red chip plus a white chip. So is that for every red chip you add another red chip and one white chip? Or do you add a red chip for every red plus only one white chip? Is there a unit chart?

Yes, I have a 6:5 chart available for you: www.vegas-aces.com/site/resources/charts-guides-blackjack-payoff-chart-6-to-5.html So basically the original bet pays even money and the extra amount is paid per unit. So if your original bet is $5, you get paid $5 (even money) plus the bonus. The bonus being for every red chip the player plays the dealer will pay that with a white chip. A green ($25) bet pays red ($5) and a black ($100) pays four red chips ($20). I hope that helps!

It's easier to calculate a payout if you pay to the unit instead of trying to figure out the math. So for every red chip, the dealer would pay a red chip plus a white chip. For every green chip, the dealer would pay a green chip plus a red chip and so on.

We do not need any 6:5 Black Jack, the rule of thumb should be "if you see a 6:5 game..... Walk Away " I did not watch this video but i like your videos in general. I thought I'd comment to support the rating. if players just don't play them the game should die out. 21 will not go away if players continue to play them, only the 6:5 payout games. 3:2 or 2:1 for Black Jack is what players should look for.

If you ever play, never play a 6:5 table, the house edge is over 2% on 6:5 tables, and if u play them, only more will pop up and replace 3:2

You make it too complicated by "going in the weeds" explaining $5 bets, $1 bets, $25 bets etc. Make it simple by comparing a $100 bet. If one gets a blackjack on a 3:2 table the dealer pays $150 while at a 6:5 table he pays $120. It's this simple...............a 6;5 table is a rip-off. If enough players won't play 6:5 the casinos will have to go back to 3:2
