Can you use Double crochets instead of Single chrochets and what would the stich count be? Using a Treble crochet to create the cable. Nice video thnks ❤

Great question! You can absolutely swap out one basic crochet stitch for another that requires one stitch to one space. No change in stitch count. You can play with what stitches work better and the height difference. Have Fun!!!

Great question. You can always give it a try and see how it looks. The post stitches actually condense the rows so working double crochets may or may not work. But it’s always worth a try. 😊💖🧶
