My sister is a professional chef, she’s a vegetarian. Just because she doesn’t like meat doesn’t mean she isn’t going to cook it. Everyone else in my family is a meat eater, including myself, and she cooks the meat just fine. She doesn’t want to slaughter the animal and she chooses to buy some she knows had a good life before being slaughtered. It’s a conscious choice whenever you want to participate in animal cruelty or not. I like my steak but I’d gladly pay 10 more pounds for a steak I know comes from a well fed, well taken care of cow than one trapped in a 4x4 pen
