Mentality differences, that's all. I'm from Europe and I met Aussies a few times now and they are always very friendly and down to earth. US citizens are kinda the opposite but not all though obviously.

@@chloekaftan From my personal experience that is true indeed. I work in a competitive field in Vienna and still colleagues are very friendly to each other since it also improves everyone's general mood which also helps with productivity to be honest. Also money itself isn't that important. Nobody here really wants to be the next billionaire or whatever. As long as its enough for your family plus some extra bits for a nice vacation every once in a while and people are happy here. I'm not saying that Americans are all about the money but certainly people over there compare their success via their bank accounts way more often than we do.

@@no_alias_for_me I agree. Differences in the mentality of the contestants and the audience. In US masterchef the script also tells them to bring a bit more drama, because the US audience apparently likes that.

Well, it all starts with the mentors and judges. Specially Ramsey. Look at how abusive he is. He cannot even talk without using the F word and he is probably thinking it is a big thing to be such abusive towards fellow contestants. So learning from them contestants only learn to kill each other. what else to expect. On the contrast, see how supportive and mentoring the Australian judges. They are very good yet know how to tell the truth to the contestants. I have never seen any of them even showcase anger or using the F word. There are so much to learn from those Australian judges.

I just love how MCA doesn't just challenge and teach the contestants how to cook properly but also on how to do it as a team 'coz in the real world you really have to deal with other workmates so it's very commendable that they're teaching them how to work as a team.

@@sl3966 see again Reynold was always better(or best) at desserts more than savoury dishes and he made a name for himself in that.for reasons he was not AS confident in savoury dishes as he was in sweet.not to forget he is the brother of a renowned chef as well so he had a backing...jessica did not but she is also working at the fortrot unicorn bar,a restaurant in perth since and is doing well there.anyways he is returing to MasterChef this year and may be he will redeem it for himself this time😃.

And its very rude and degrading, there is a reason why negative reinforcement are usually done at military school and police academy; that is to quickly root out trainees who can stomach being insulted and stressed in order to succeed, Negative reinforcement will not work on majority of people

Overcoming the pressure is always hard but through time you’ll get through it, you’ll get used to it.. i worked in a restaurant kitchen on mother’s day and on Christmas and its restless but i’m happy coz i gave my best effort to give them what they came for! ☺️ I cried, I bleed, I sweat but I smiled, I laugh, I learned, love my co-workers build everlasting friendships and feel the fulfillment from the experience! 🥰😘☺️
