Whoa!!! This is the most helpful thing I’ve found in over two years of searching on this subject. I was appalled to find this subject swept aside by any physicians with whom I consulted. I finally blundered on to a doc who was willing to prescribe BHRT for me but not sure dosage is right after hearing this. She seems knowledgeable but would like another doc for second opinion and if this current doc retires - she’s older. Good tips on finding providers. I will subscribe and do the deep dive on any information I can find by Dr. Rosensweet.

Awaiting for another session with Dr. Rosensweet. Is it possible to not notice going into menopause if you’re on good amounts of hormones in peri and decided to cycle progesterone?

Thank you for clarifying telemedicine! My menopause practice is telemedicine in Missouri & Iowa and I am certified by The Menopause Society! I love what I do!🎉

Really appreciate the wisdom and expertise of Dr. Rosensweet, and his acknowlegement of the individual variation of need of certain hormones. I hope Maraya will take this into consideration, and understand that a person's adrenal reserves are not just dependent on "poor diet and lifestyle", but incredibly dependent on a person's history with severe, chronic autoimmune diseases, multiple traumas on the body, childhood upbringing, etc. Not everyone has had the same fortunate and privileged life as others, and this will certainly make an overwhelming impact on a person's menopause experience.

Dr. Mary Clair Haver who is a dr in hormones, GYN, nutrition said that compounding hormones are not as effective as pellet hormones. Compounding hormones do not give you a steady level. They give you a high-level to begin with and then level off. She has really great information on menopause.

No, you misunderstood Dr. Mary Claire Haver…Compounded pharmacies provide consistent doses. It’s the pellets that cause a high dose when first inserted, then drop in levels over time. Pellets have to be inserted every 3-4 months because the body uses them up. Dr. Mary Claire Haver prefers to use FDA approved hormones, which are made in set standard doses, and can be bought at the local drug store, like CVS or Walgreens, but she will use compounded hormones if there is not an FDA approved hormone dose available. Pellets and compounded hormones are all bioidentical, as well as the FDA approved hormones.

What about us women that have ovaries but not our uterus and were clockwork bleeding until the operation. Which I was overjoyed to have at the age of 51. My periods were so very heavy!! Also ... How do we get insurance to start paying for the bioidentical options

Are you ever too old to START bHRT? I am 69. I started Imvexxy last year and it was life changing by improving intimacy. I am also concerned with bone and muscle health, fatigue, and aging well. Is it too late for me?

Why is she asking about men’s declining hormonal symptoms yet entitles the show hormones therapy for WOMEN’s wellness? 🙄
