Your sentence is correct. However, in spoken language, it would be more natural to say... He gave me his fever. I caught his fever.

Unfortunately, there are usually procedures that call center agents have to follow to do their job. However, I know this is a real hassle for customers!

Sometimes we can successfully retain customers' business by helping with the bill or technical issues. Sometimes customers just want to cancel due to simple issues. Maybe the speed is not good if it is an internet service and we can offer a better package or if it is a billing issue we can help with fixing this. All companies want to retain their business and help customers to be satisfied. There is even some people who might complain and say this company did not attempt to keep me as a loyal customer of many years and just sacked me. Retention is a double edge sword. An edge is to keep a customer happy and loyal and the other edge that if we over push customer will become frustrated so in this case we will respect his wish. It doesn't work this way that you wanna cancel because you are unhappy and the company will just sack you.

I work in a call center and unfortunately the agents have to do these things or else they can get bad reviews. It’s a very anxious job.
