Open it up and choose the dither for your master, When the dither icon is engaged you're getting the dither with your playback. it can be worth checking how it effects quieter sections of the track. especially acapella sections if any. when its active its included in the export.

Can this master via the DAW or only a exported full track?

in DAW, its not standalone. I however will usally export and work on a bounce for efficiency.

@Unders I have been playing about with clarity for a few days It is good in small doses. I've been mainly using it on vocals and on the master bus

15-20% seems to be the golden zone for me. and maybe tilt towards the mids. That could just be the mixes i've tried though.
