I don't know if it's obvious or not, but you didn't mention that you can safely pillage your sanctuaries for free Solari, even after you installed 3 masterpieces as Mesa in each of them. I've just started my learning of DUNE_Spice wars with house Ecaz Conquest mode on eazy and i'm having fun out there ^_^ Also wish you could see that updated tooltip while building masterpiece when you have special Rulers on a mission to be aware of bonuses you get when building them.

Excellent point about the pillaging! Not only is this very easy, it's pretty much risk-free since it's in the middle of your territory by design.

And if you do this with Champions, you can farm Hegemony and xp.

Adding to that, a desert is always "non-enemy territory" and counts towards surrounding your sanctuary, so it's actually not a terrible idea to have it next to a deep desert or the desolation. It's free real estate, quite literally!

Now outdated info already. Recent patch made it so sanctuaries can be taxed or have a military parade to boost XP of troops present.

its a weird hybrid RTS, and RTS is a very niche genre compared to something like proper 4x etc. still amazing though

I think it's because gamers are jaded from games with IPs from other media. Most of the time it's just a skin over a bad game for a cash grab.

Has there been an immense patch changing Ecaz since this video? I just bought the game and there are some things that are missing/functions completely different now. Sanya no longer gives solaris from Masterpieces for instance.
