Hey bud. REALLY ENJOYED THE FULL EFFORT VIDEO !! It gives us a look into your approach and thoughts on each shot. Your shots woth the boat tail slugs had me on the edge of my seat,literally!!! Dont know what rounds you switched to afterward,but they sure werent on like the boat tails were. And that scope...digital pixelation was horrible. Id use that thing for nothing more than a paper weight. My compliments on your control. Great video bud!!!

Thanks Steve! I think the scope shifted a little bit on the 2nd round through, but I did end up switching tins during the video, not sure if it was an issue there since it was all the same ammo. All these scopes like this look terrible with digital zoom. It seems more of a gimmick to make the scope appear better than what it actually is. I think beyond 10x or so is when it starts to go digital.

@toxicmatrix1337 I used to have problems with 22 cal Crosman pellets can to can. I figured they were drop molded,so I went to Beeman pellets,and the fliers almost disappeared completely. I had only a couple per can take off. When I had Sheridan Bluestreak ages ago,I was getting the 5mm pellets from a dealership run by 3 retired policemen.Each pellet was machined,rather than molded enmasse. Sadly,they retired n closed the shop and I dont remember the pellet company.

Next video with that, my plan is to crank the Rattler to max reg pressure and run some slugs through it. I had it at about 50% power the last time it was out, curious to see how powerful it actually gets.

Hey, scope mount is backwards. Once proper it will not stick into the face

I needed it in that orientation to get the scope back further. The eye relief is pretty much zero.

That is a dream set up for me, I think they (YT) are trying to keep you from making a 100K that first shot is on point , what z the zoom on the scope cam 100 yards is pressing it for the NV400 but I def could see pellet travel and that's cool af also you need your spotter scope as a backup confirmation, another thing you can tag in the comments, Maybe make a round mask for the cam makes it look more scopey I feel, those thuds brother are with authority , I like any of the videos you make and the talking with it is even better I think they seem more personal and it gives more insight to what's going on in that noggen of yours. 😁. Maybe on the longer vids make chapters as well for your add people.

Time stamps added! The digital zoom ruins these scopes, 100 yards was a stretch for it and thats not really much to expect out of a scope lol! I might have to look up that mask, Im not sure Ive used that feature on my editor

@@toxicmatrix1337 You can prolly get a cheap wood stock for a rugger, and find a wood guy to modify it to the Gauntlet. Ruger 77 Stock would be a good cheap stock all over ebay LOL All this talk about Gauntlet, I’m gonna have to get one 🤣

I've got a G2 coming what Griffen slug would you recommend. I would like to use the magizine unless the heavier slugs are that much better. I would single load. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Great video and loved the green screen. Also, keep them coming.

Thank you! My G30 didnt like slugs aside from the boat tails. I used to run NSA slugs but they fouled my barrel really badly.

Would you recommend the 30 gauntlet? And what brand compressor do you have and would you recommend it

I would definitely recommend the Gauntlet 30, its still more favorite out of everything I own. I use the older, big model air venturi compressor, I dont think it even has a name lol. I would not recommend getting it. If you go on Amazon, Tuxing sells a dual cylinder compressor. That compressor is nearly identical to what I bought, but it starts at about a third of the price for the same thing. If you change the oil frequently and baby the unit, it works out pretty good. Heres a pretty nice setup for a bit more from Tuxing, comes with additional filters and water tank built in for cooling amzn.to/3YMNTLg

Stock cylinder, it probably looks longer because the green screen is cutting off the rest of the barrel.

Nice shooting as usual, didn’t seem like you liked that scope, you could not see where you hit most of the time, that stinks. IMO, videos over 20 minutes are getting to long, I did watch to the end, but not my favorite. Of all the guns you just spoke of, I don’t think I have seen you shoot the GK1, that’s a pistol, right, that would be cool. Thanks Kurt! I think the digital zoom ruins these scopes, they should just stop at maybe 10x or so versus offering 20x...lol! I think if I made another video in this style I would just do 1 round and then follow up with the steels. If I skipped the 2nd round it would've been about 10 or so minutes shorter. Im trying to find some better ammo options for the GK1 before I take that out, a few of the rounds I bought like to jam the action up. I am open to suggestions if you want to send some my way!

If I could get the exact dimensions needed for the best fit for the slugs/pellets I'll order them and cast my own. I'd appreciate it if you might be able to learn those, I've tried reaching out to other channels, even Gregor, the creator of it, but no joy. I saw you asking if your efforts are noticed, and I've enjoyed the sincerity you've demonstrated and hope you'll continue uploading. @@mikewaters1919 Thank you, I appreciate it! My GK1 is a 25 cal, it says to use 253/254 caliber slugs. Even when I use that specific diameter, the slugs still jam up. I get about 8 rounds in and the cylinder starts to bind, the only thing so far that wont do that are pellets. Im really not sure what else to try, Ive seen videos on here where they used slugs. I try them out but it will not work. I wonder if they had issues loading it and just never showed it jamming.
