That's a great setup Sam! Looks very easy to set up wherever you're working. I liked that CamVac set up when we put Jodi's together. One question though; do you have or see a need to ground that system or your other vac system? Thanmks for sharing. Take care, Dave

I did not ground this system. However, I do think there is some reasons to do that. I think there is possibly more potential for a static discharge in my vbigger dust extractor. It is a very large cyclone with a large box that collects the bigger chips. Anyway, so far no explosions. Sam

That really seems like a nice system. Most of my tools are in my garage and my lathe is in my basement. What is blue PVC pipe and where do do get it?

Good morning Carol The blue pipe was left over from the construction of my shop. Don’t know where it came from. It is just some 4 inch PVC. Anyway, I’m very happy with this Camvac It does an amazing job. I have been better cleaning up my shop since it has been installed . The one place I always had trouble was my bandsaw. But it has kept the inside where the wheels are almost dust free. Hope you are well later Sam.

Is the Y going down to the floor sweep reversed?

You are very observant. I need to go back and look at it. It seems there was a reason I put the Y in there like that. ???? Sam.

Until I built the hood around mine all efforts to use the dust collection port were in vain. @@WYOMINGWOODTURNER
