Bill’s harmonizing is phenomenal. One of the most under rated players out there

Unsung hero of the band, him and Brann are the biggest songwriters in the band currently and Bill has written so man amazing riff. Just an awesome guitar player and musician.

@@puppetmaster8551 for years I thought my fav mastodon riffs were written by Brent, whos playing I admired for years. Turns out a lot of those are Bill.

@@asutera45 Brent writes a lot of cool stuff too but Bill is just an absolute metal riff machine, guy just churns out nonstop banger riffs their whole history.

You walk with boundless grace Think old thoughts from yesterday All being lost in the fire You wandered and lost the way Someone's always left behind When the door of life closes And you were slipping away What do I say to you? What do I say to you? And if I want you to stay What do I say to you? What do I say to you? This moment I take for you Think of all we didn't do All seeking answers from this Hope to come out alive Standing still my hands are tied Our eyes open up to the sky And you were slipping away What do I say to you? What do I say to you? And if I want you to stay What do I say to you? What do I say to you? And you were slipping away What do I say to you? What do I say to you? They sacrifice vocals to get a perfect instrumental performance... witch makes sense since they never were singers... idk who sang in troys and brents band still have to look that up but theyr too good at their insteuments to be just as good in vocals.

I also feel like they got bad vocal luck when they film their shows except for the few gems we got but i saw slipknot live in 2017 and they sounded better than any live vid i ever saw... and i dont live in a majot city... my theory is theyr vocals sound great prolly at the beggining of the tour but after 20 cities plus theyr voices start to faulter

Brann has a really bad habit of riding the crash when he’s singing a chorus to the point it sounds like the sound guy in boasting his vocal mic also caught the cacophony of the damn cymbal, almost ruining this. Go to the ride in the choruses, man! 😉☺️
