In 1975 I was riding from Tacoma WA to Portland OR. I was 15 years old. My folks were driving me. Annie’s Song played on the radio every hour. I was on my way to a hospital for open heart surgery. The night before I went in for surgery I heard this song and it really moved me. Maybe because we weren’t sure of the outcome. I didn’t know if I would survive this. I was one of the first type of open heart for my congenial heart defects. I was being wheeled into surgery and this song played again on the overhead speaker. I woke up 3 days later and to my astonishment Annie’s Song was playing! Needless to say, this song means a lot to me. You sing it beautifully. Thank you. I will always think of this song as God being with me during that time. Again, thank you. ❤️

My daughter is 14 and has had 4 open heart surgeries. I'm always grateful for those brave souls who had the first heart surgeries without knowing what the outcome would be. I'm sure the anxiety was intense! Music has played a huge roll for us as well. Each surgery seemed to have it's own song that carried us through. God often speaks to me through music and I'm happy to see He speaks to others the same way! Beautifully done Mat and Savanna!

One of my most favorite songs of all time. I watched a documentary where John Denver talked about how he wrote this song. He’d just had an argument with his wife. He left and went skiing. As he rode the lift up the mountain, his senses became heightened, and he realized everything he experienced in life was better because of her. So he skied down the mountain right back home and wrote this beautiful song. Your rendition is absolutely beautiful!

Oh my gosh I got to meet them tonight. I went to a friends daughters wedding reception and they were singing. I walked in and got to hear the last few sentences but I recognized their sound and looked through the crowed to see them; and screamed like a little girl (I'm 59). It just happens I was standing next to Easton and I didn't recognize him. Their Aunt was standing there too and laughed and said she'd introduce me and she so graciously did; so yea!!! I got to meet Mat and Savanna. Savanna you are one beautiful girl. They were so sweet; just like you would think they are. Oh our friends daughter married their nephew I think is what happened. And it's funny because last summer we took those same friends to Lake Powel and I was playing them Mat and Savanna. They didn't remember that. I have followed them from their first video; I think it had been posted like two weeks when I found them. I love love your music....it takes me to really good places. And this Annie's Song...wow!!! So lovely to meet you!!!

Not sure if I've already made a comment about how beautiful your version of the song is. Ive loved this song since my teenage years. Its 1 of the few songs I know the words to & love to sing it. (I have a fair voice but no way a true singer. If I had taken singing practise when younger I might have 🤔) I became a church bell ringer. During the winter the group would get booked to do concerts for old people homes, WI. We would play a mixture of tunes & Christmas Carol's. Annie song was one of the tunes we would play. I always wanted to sing along but would never dare 😅 Listening to you singing just takes me back. I love your voices & love the way you look at each other. I love your songs. I have your albums plus i have a KZbin fold i keep your videos in. My son said thst he's never seen me with having a passion for singers as I have for you. He messenged you to send me a birthday wish. I'm so grsteful that you sent one. A video keep sake. I was rwally moved & couldn't believe. Beinging in the UK meant my birthday was nesrly over but came in time (we are about 7hrs or 8hrs in front of you) I'm looking forward to your next concert broadcast.
