He has all 7 signs !!! He has a very open, honest, clear communication. Had some trouble at first to match his words with his actions, but only because we were at distance. I am sure he will follow up. Talking about the future together, joking about marriage is a good sign also. Another sign is when he let you influence him. He listen to your advice and asking for advice. Another funny sign that he wants long term commitment is that he express worries about his freedom, and cheating. I know, it,'s weird but my last man expressed his fears before commitment. We were together for 17 years. That doesn't mean that he really cheated but this way he is expressing his fears of leaving his "old" life and feeling very uncomfortable, yet knowing that he will take the risk 😊 My new man also expressed his fears about single life, other woman, freedom, yet he is making project to come and live with me, even if this means reorganize his whole life, work, changing country... the first time I was a little afraid. Now I am just smiling because I know he is serious 😍

Thanks for that Matt! Always appreciate your videos. I am currently talking to a guy who I met through an app. At first he was persistent and we have hung out a few times since then. I have been trying to listen more to what his words and actions are telling me lately so I can get a gauge on what he wants with us, if anything. Thing is, I have a feeling he is "bread-crumbing" me. One minute we will be talking consistently and the next there's radio silence. I want to get to know him better but keep getting mixed signals. Last week for example, he said he would like to see me and hear from me more often (over text or call). Then when he asks me to call at a certain time, he flakes out. The thing that I feel is necessary for me to know he is ready for a relationship with me, is probably an honest conversation with him to gain some clarity on what we want. I would like to have that openness with him, but am a bit confused as to the meaning of his actions right now. He tells me he likes me, flirts alot, but then puts the breaks on 🤷

When I pointed to this place and made comment to him: “ hey you remember the first date we meet here and buy the way you come to our first date with no flowers.... He’s respond was: Well I dint know if I like you so I dint bring any flowers. I told him: well if you felted this way then perhaps you should save receipt and return if you get disappointed. Since then I just felt deeply insulted and told him I need to take time to think about our relationship. Do you think I did the right thing? Please leave me comment.. Loreta

Hi Matt, My boyfriend wants to keep our relationship personal and private. We've been together for over 2.5 years, plus over 2 years as colleagues, but staying away most of the time (see each other a few times a year) as I'm working abroad. We just had this conversation recently, his relationship at university had a big effect on him. That relationship was more public and it ended in a way that just meant people would be talking to him about it over and over and over. Also, there is a part that is related to us being separated and what our plan is for the long term. I understand that he might think this won't last and want to wait till it gets solid. I would like to here your opinions, is it okay to keep a relationship personal in the long term? Have you ever experienced it before? Many thanks

Once we are honest with ourselves and loving what we developed into and we are falling in love in what we have become, there is no way the right guy will not realize this. I think one thing I look for is if he has a good relationship with his mother, father and or siblings. It says a lot to me about loyalty and if he holds any grudges or resentments. Not to mention any other red flags because he doesn’t have good role models to emulate! Having a mother who has taught him to be honest and have integrity has been important to me in the past as well!

for me saying sorry AND changing the specific behavior... just saying sorry and then doing it again later is useless. another important thing for me is someone who acts dismissive if they dont agree with me on something

For me the most important is to respect the family both side without any complains whether rich or poor. Thanks

Well how long should you wait until we get into serious relationship? Because it’s possible that we’re not ready so soon, but I don’t want to waste time either

I've been in a relationship before that is as long as yours. I was unhappy too and it didn't end well. We ended up hurting each other terribly. Does he know you're unhappy? Mine does, I told him the same things for years and he didn't care. 😅 So my advice for you, while it is still early, just leave. I didn't leave during that time because I thought just being "unhappy" is not a vaild reason. But happiness is important. Especially if the reason of your unhappiness is your partner and you did your part.

Not pulling away! Mine has the 7 signs, but pulls away as an avoidant. It drives me crazy and makes me anxious, although generally I am quite secure

I've met Milan and Kay (Christian councellors) They have marriage workshops in SoCal where I used to live. Milan works with New Life Live with an impeccable team on the radio show. They've also wrote "How we love our kids". The attachment styles are crucial to understand the dynamic of the relationship/marriage.

Agreed on all these but when he is stressing he is always trying to push me away and I say to him I know he is stressing and I give him his space ..... he does not apologize we just let it go and ignore his actions as I do not take it personal 🤷♀️

.Respectful .Honest .Courteous .Insightful .Kind .Patient .Compassionate .Calm (not so quick to anger) I could go on but realistically there's no "perfect" man, he's going to have his moments but as long as he's aware, and has the drive to put effort into maintaining the relationship then you have won a good man! 😊
