I think there're many different reasons to use different hooklengths. Things like bait presentation, target species, rig type can all play a part in selecting your hooklength. I know some of the bigger channels have covered this topic in detail, but the most important thing is using something that you have confidence in. Keep it simple. 🎣🐟🎣🐟🎣🐟🎣🐟

Can I ask can you take the hook length of easy at end of session and if so how? Thanks

You can push the two loops back towards each other and reverse the method. Can be a little tricky sometimes after catching fish as the line pulls tight. I would recommend cutting the hooklength and using a new one for your next session. Hope this help...🎣🎣🎣
