I know my vids tend to go a little longer, but I find most viewers appreciate the extra details.

Great job on that Morris truck! It looks just impressive, Is it the factory color?
@vintagediecastrestoration5 жыл бұрын
As close to factory as I can get!

I prefer to use in my restorations a good silver paint than this chrome marker. It gives a high, and out of scale contrast in my opinion. In my case I am applying a wash with black oil colour on the areas I have paint with silver and the result although is not hi polished is more realistic.

Nice job , but backlights should be red or orange
@vintagediecastrestoration5 жыл бұрын
I do the silver first and then go over them with a transluscent gloss red. It just takes so long for the silver ink to dry I didn't want to delay the video going out. After a week or two I will go back and touch up the tail lights.

You should’ve done the taillights in red.

planning on it. I like to do the silver first, then go over it with a transluscent gloss red. It really makes them pop! I have to wait a few weeks for the silver to dry first and didn't want to delay posting the video.
