Super kick ass twist on the Big Banger! Looks amazing and has given me some great ideas for some future builds. Thanks for another killer build. You never disappoint and your channel is what got me wanting to start restomodding some of my diecasts I had thought about changing but wasn't sure how to do it better. It's been almost 40 years since I did any custom work to one. A very heartfelt thank you for getting me back into my first love.

I had a Cosmic Blues variant of this car as a kid. Back then I had no idea why the engine is so big and thought it makes no sense, because nobody would see with such a thing sticking up front. Nobody in my family was a car person, so nobody explained this to me until it was too late (the toy went missing years before I finally understood). Awful shame I don't have it now, would be a PERFECT restoration for me to learn all the basics. Funnily enough, having this car as a kid also explains why I immediately knew 1968 Charger is the prettiest muscle car ever when I first saw one. And it remains my fav to this day.

Beautiful. Mad as a tree, but beautiful. A bloke living along the road from me had a sweet Charger in exactly that colour. I liked to see it every day as I went to work. Sadly, a few months ago, he swapped it for a pretty characterless red Corvette from a few years back.

That's one awesome job on one of my favourite matchbox superfasts . I am lucky enough to own a stock Big Banger with complete engine and stickers . Also made a custom Matt black one called "The Creep" which has a chrome skull (actually a custom tyre valve cap!) where the engine used to be and "The Creep" painted down the sides (plenty of room there!) and a Pie-Eyed Piper (same model but with velocity stacks instead of a blower and zoomie exhausts) which l installed a "big Banger" blown engine , Matt yellow paint , red tyres and an oversize central rear aerial .

DAMN! Just watched this one and totally fell in love. I thought about skipping this video because the super whack original design never made me imagine your magic hands on it. Love Mopars and really enjoyed this video. I was so worried you weren't going to fix that ding on the top middle of the windshield frame. Green looks authentic Mopar and the blue windows somehow work. Because I thought you were going to go that way, I then wanted to see the hood lines instead of them being filled in. Thanks for posting.
