Matchbox / Revell Stranraer 1\72 Motorised

Never built one of these before. A nice kit from Matchbox, no filler needed and goes together very well. The only down side is getting the top wing inplace so it is level and true to the bottom wing. Also if you want to rig the model (put bracing wires on it) then this is a major headache. Patience is needed so be aware if if you intend to build one.
Revell released a Stranraer which is from the same mould but with different decals.

Thanks for that, a great job. I built one when I was a kid, which was fondly remembered as I'm originally from Stranraer and they were stationed at the port in 1940 before being replaced by Sunderlands. I wonder if you can do a motorised Gloster Meteor (based on an existing kit). What I mean is... a Gloster Meteor MkI was a testbed for the first turbo-prop engines and the conversion was called the Trent Meteor named after the Rolls-Royce engines installed, just an idea as I've never seen a Trent Meteor model.

@@dcanmore Thanks ! 👍 I know the Trent Meteor you speak of...It's a very rare model nowadays. I think it could be motorised yes. It will probably be a heck of a lot easier than this Stranrear 🤣🤣
