I fell in love with this song when I bought the album 23 or 24 years ago. I still love to hear it. A year after I bought it, I was critically injured and lost everything. When I came out of the coma and started to become reacquainted with my music, this rung especially true to me. I was hoping with everything I had that everything in my life could get back to good. Nope. It was all gone. I had to find new good, start over with everything. Matchbox never left - was always with me through my mad season, as I rebuilt my life and realized I was more than I thought I was, and on. Such a soundtrack of my life. - Love you guys. i always love seeing all the old(er) people in the comments of every M20 video. I'm 23 and my dad literally raised me on these guys cause my sister was born the same year yourself or someone like you came out. of course, back then I didn't know what the songs were about but weirdly, the meaning of each song revealed itself to me when i needed it the most. i rediscovered this one when i was immensely suicidal due to a traumatic event and had a constant feeling of 'there is no way i can ever get back who i was before this happened to me.' when i finally saw them live with my dad, and my sister last weekend, screaming these lyrics with a group of people my age in a section of the barrier we had made our home for that night...it was almost spiritual. it warms me to no end to think about how if my dad, one of the aforementioned old(er) people, hadn't loved these guys so much that he constantly played them in the car on the way to school, and on road trips, I would never have made it through the darkest times of my life

I remember listening to all of his songs on the radio and still love his music today. He makes people think and feel that things will be ok and there is still hope. In every song, he does that. Its no wonder I've always liked Rob Thomas. He did say that he's a spiritual man and I can tell he is. Makes him more attractive and its not just his looks. Rob is deep and his songs express his emotions so well and how life is and should be. Spread a little love and thats exactly what this world needs! Rob Thomas needs to be on the radio again!!

Saw Matchbox 20 in July in Mountain view loved this album when it first was released.Skip forward my youngest son tells me that he got tickets for the show and was taking me for my Father's Day present.Because I played this album a lot when he was little he says this is his all time favorite album .Just goes to say the music that was made in my generation still and will always be the best music ever recorded. Today's music will not hold up in time as these bands of generation
