My Vita has become an emulation machine for Capcom/SNK arcade games, SNES, GBA etc. but I also find myself just jumping into Contra Hard Corps and Castlevania Bloodlines all the time when I just need something quick to play/beat, Genesis is great for that really.

Mike beat Fester's Quest a couple times on stream, and for the first time those biters would all got free hits on him because he genuinely couldn't figure out that they burrow under walls, and the second time was a year or two later and he seemed to remember nothing about the game, and I mean literally nothing as if it was a blind playthrough, but this time he figured out the biters immediately like a normal person. Something is off about him. (I don't think the forgetting indicates a memory problem or anything, a lot of people don't realize that forgetting things is something that your brain does on purpose to clean up your mental garbage and not some kind of mental deterioration.)

Mac build quality is okay, but it's nowhere near what it should be for the price. I always get the 3 year protection plan for like $400, because something is guaranteed to break and cost more than that within 3 years of regular use.

When EJ gets to the N64 Zeldas, you should try out the Recompilation tool that just came out. You can have a working EXE of Majora with basically no emulation errors or anything like that, and have crazy stuff like raytraced shadows working ingame.

@@RedCowArcade I find the M30 doesn't work for Master System unless I put it into 3 button mode, you can do that at any time by holding the MODE button for 3 seconds, The blue light WILL NOT flash like the manual suggests. (at least not on the latest firmware)

X5, in the Mega Retron HD, with the M30 2.4ghz and I notice some odd bugs here and there, Aladin, for instance, won't work at all with the M30 unless I start the game with a WIRED controller and then change it out for the m30 receiver. (But I found out the hard way that if you reach the Continue screen, the m30 stops working again, and plugging in a wired controller instantly selects "Quit" like Bimmy having a bad-ending at the beach.)

I totally agree, feels wwise the M30 is sooo much better. The dpad feels incredible on that thing. I've luckily never had issues with any of the 8bitdo controllers but I just use them all with emulators, but they do make a lot of controllers so I'm sure there can be defects. I have 2 SN30s, an N30, 2 SN30Pro, a pro 2, 2 m30s, all incredible, their Snes and Sega controllers are the best ones you can get in terms of feel and durability from my experience.

My experience with Mortal Kombat II on the arcade is first three or so opponents are pretty easy. Then the CPU starts cheating and it starts reacting to what you do the absolute millisecond you do it. The home ports are far more forgiving plus they have difficulty settings as well.

It's an ego thing, he thinks he's too good for these games but the games themselves give him the reality check that he's only a good player when compared to other people just as mediocre as him and that's why he gets pissed off , part of why he stays away from anything competitive. Also age is a factor, your react slower and learn slower except when you are fit and healthy and didn't let your brain become mush (there's 50 year olds with reaction times as good or better than 20 year olds)
